An Australian student gets ejected from a live talk show for questioning the Western narrative on Ukraine.
Host of Australian Q&A show Stan Grant booted Sasha Gillies-Lekakis (University of Melbourne student) out of the studio after he politely raised an uncomfortable question about Ukraine.
Here’s what Sasha said:
As someone who comes from the Russian community here in Australia, I've been pretty outraged by the narrative created by our media depicting the Ukraine as the good guy, and Russia as the bad guy.
Believe it or not, there are a lot of Russians here and around the world that support what Putin is doing in the Ukraine, myself included.
Since 2014, the Ukrainian government, together with Nazi groups like the Azov battalion, have besieged the Russian populations in the Donbas, killing an estimated 13,000 people, according to the United Nations.
My question is: where was your outpouring of grief and concern for those thousands of mostly Russians?

In 1997, Joe Biden said that admitting the Baltic countries into NATO would jeopardize US-Russian relations and provoke a "vigorous and hostile reaction".
In 2008, 4 years after the Baltic States joined NATO, then-Ambassador to Russia William Burns (now Biden's CIA director) wrote in a confidential cable to Washington about Russia's concerns that Ukrainian accession to NATO could "lead to a major split, involving violence or at worst, civil war." Burns added "in that eventuality, Russia would have to decide whether to intervene; a decision Russia does not want to have to face."
For decades, US officials have known what the eventual consequences of NATO's eastward expansion would be. To answer the burning question 'how did we get here', one can't ignore the role played by American and NATO Policy in Europe since the end of the Cold War.

Kyiv is preventing civilians from utilizing the agreed upon humanitarian corridors because it doesn’t want Ukrainians entering Russia and Belarus, says Moscow’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia.
It’s worth noting that from the standpoint of geography, Russia and Belarus happen to be the closest and most easily accessible countries for people who are currently stuck in Ukraine’s northern and eastern cities.
Unfortunately, it appears that Ukraine’s leadership is more concerned with political optics rather than saving lives.
Note: the humanitarian routes are labeled in green on the map above. The accuracy of the map itself is unverified.

❗️U.S. foreign policy elite call for limited no-fly zone over Ukraine.
In an open letter to the Biden administration, a group of 27 foreign policy leaders is urging the U.S. to impose a limited no-fly zone over Ukraine, citing the need to protect humanitarian corridors.
Their justification sounds strange, and here’s why:
While both sides of the conflict have accused each other of obstructing the proper functioning of civilian evacuation routes, there have been absolutely no reports of humanitarian corridors coming under attack from the air.
