So, not fear mongering here, an Impressive, but not to worry about X2.2 Solar flare occurred on 09:13 UTC (May 9) or 05:13 EST this morning. Effects were immediate as the X2.2 Solar flare reached earth at the speed of light, 8 minutes 32 seconds later. The flare from the sun most likely cause short wave radio disruptions. Part 2 is the Coronal mass ejections (3 to 4) headed towards earth and is expected to arrive 10 May 22:00 EST where North and South America will be facing the opposite direction. Perfect setup to possibly see aurora at mid latitudes. The plasma density is unusually dense because of the successive CMEs will be interesting to see if there are any additional impacts (Satellites failing, possible comm problems) - Oh, did I forget to mention that North and South America are facing away from the CME? Which means The Pacific and Indian Oceans will be facing the CMEs when they hit!. Satellites (Everyone's satellites) will also be facing these CMEs. Hmm..........I wonder if there will be radio blackouts...Do you think China is following this? There are now 6 X Class earth directed solar flares headed towards earth, the last one is the biggest at X-3.
All 6 will hit us before the end of the weekend.
There's now a 30% chance that we will have a level 5 solar storm meaning a KP 8 or 9 ๐
The health effects are definitely going to be front and center with this one...

Six storms โ looking at the dashboard I saw a new burst and after checking found out there are two new ones but the most recent X3 one is my greatest concern and thatโs a Monday Tuesday thing.
The earthโs magnetic field is taking a beating sequentially and my understanding of how we generate that magnetism is that it rebuilds over time just like static electricity builds up just like friction from hail and ice builds up static energy to generate plasma aka lightning in a thundercloudโฆ
Less time, less magnetic energy.
So itโs more likely of worse events than last time I made my prediction
