Dr. Chuck Thurston was not only a brilliant doctor who saved countless lives and tenaciously advocated for hospitalized patients being denied treatment during Covid. He was also a devout Christian and a loving husband to his wife Therese. He gave freely of his time to others, including giving testimony for HB 73 in the house in May 2023. He passed away just a few days before we were able to pass some of the provisions of HB 73, a bill that was very important to him as a physician.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and his family. May they be comforted in this great time of loss.
Well folks.. the HB 73 plot thickens.
As we have made everyone aware, Senators Matt and Steve Huffman REFUSED to allow the health provider off-label license protection provision into HB 315 claiming the Senate didn’t want it. That made ZERO sense because that EXACT language was in the Steve Huffman’s version of HB 73 that PASSED the Senate floor!

Well here is the ONLY reason that makes sense….
The Governor and OH senate APPOINT the members of the Ohio Board of medicine who are responsible for investigating and removing the licenses of physicians who “violate public health and safety standards”!!! Our best guess is that DeWine and Matt Huffman worked with Steve to write the Senate Sub-bill for HB 73 SO BADLY that they knew Rep Gross and the House would NOT concur with and then they could claim the House was “unreasonable” and “killed the bill.” What they didn’t count on is massive public outcry demanding that Senate leadership come back to the table to Pass SOMETHING of actual VALUE for patients and healthcare providers! We knew that Matt and Steve Huffman would never allow the legitimate drug access provisions to be included in HB 73 because of their OH Business Roundtable/ OH Chamber, Ohio hospital and pharmacy lobby donor entanglements, as well as their close relationship with former Senator Dave Burke (who is currently the HEAD of the Ohio Pharmacists Association). So we came back to the table to at least preserve the sections, NOT related to a pharmacist having to fill a doctor’s prescription.

Rep. Gross gave that skeleton language to Chairman Huffman early afternoon on Dec. 13th in preparation for a conference committee to be called for HB 73. The Chairman sent it to Senate legal and let it sit for nearly 3 days. Huffman NEVER mentioned cutting the off-label license protection allowing for a debate. He instead dropped only 3 of the 4 requested provisions as an amendment to HB 315 INSTEAD of calling a conference committee as planned. Chairman Huffman then made Senate members believe that Rep. Gross was ok with only the 3 provisions going into HB 315 knowing full well Rep. Gross and all the bill supporters wanted conference committee.

Chairman Huffman then submitted his 3-provision version of HB 73 to request it be added to HB 315 and Rep. Gross quickly prepared and submitted an amendment request for all 4 provisions that the Senate had already voted FOR.

Speaker Stephen’s appointed Representative DJ Swearingen to the Conference Committee on HB 315. DJ worked diligently to explain to the Senate Conference committee members that Rep. Gross was asking for provisions they already voted for with a correction for a grave mistake in a Senate passed version that would have caused a drug prescribing BAN instead of just saying the bill did not apply to the prescribing of those drugs.

Senators McColley and Manning would NOT allow the Off-label licensing provision because Matt would not allow it.

WHY?

Because they KNEW DeWine would VETO it to protect the Ohio Medical Board that HE oversees and that would make his office and Lt. Governor HUSTED look ant-medical freedom. They don’t want that kind of Stink on Husted as he is trying to get Pro-Medical freedom, JD Vance’s Senate appointment because he knows Vivek would crush him in his Governor race.

As usual the “leadership” in our state plays political GAMES with legislation that would PROTECT the LIVES of Ohioans and the Healthcare providers that care for them.

At least the truth is coming to light. The more Ohio voters learn the nefarious nature of the political players, the better equipped we are to work toward their REMOVAL in PRIMARY elections.

How long will Lt. Governor Husted remain silent on DeWine’s intention to line item, VETO medical free speech, when this clearly is against our constitution and the incoming Trump administration agenda? If Lieutenant Governor Husted will NOT stand for FREE SPEECH then he will stand for NOTHING as a Senate replacement for Vance or as the next Governor.

“Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said he plans to veto a controversial policy that would've prevented the state from disciplining healthcare workers for spreading misinformation.”

“Despite the fact that health authorities continue to remind citizens to “trust their doctor,” some doctors are attacked for their prescription choices," Gross said in her testimony.”

There is NO INFORMED CONSENT without medical FREE SPEECH.
HB 73 would’ve made Ohio the safest place in the nation for good doctors to practice medicine that actually saves lives. Alleged Republicans, Senators Matt and Steve Huffman, in collaboration with Governor DeWine, killed all the most valuable provisions of this legislation.
We are sorry hear another good doctor was driven out of Ohio and into another state in order to treat patients without constant interrogation from State Medical boards.
Nurses and doctors across the country confirmed success with use of ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and budesonide… all drugs that were made completely inaccessible to patients across the nation, including here in OH. Senators Steve and Matt Huffman in collaboration with Governor Dewine, worked to ensure the DEATH of the vital protections in HB 73 that would allowed access to these drugs and protect the doctors who prescribed them.
The blood of every future Covid and Bird Flu death is on the hands of those three men.
Here is yet another reason to prevent Ohioans from accessing ivermectin prescriptions by Killing HB 73. And as Trump told us in 2020, Hydroxychloroquine works on Malaria, but you won’t be able to get that either. 🧐 Looks like Senators Steve and Matt Huffman are playing for #TeamGates.

But Don’t worry Ohio! We will have some nice “education and tax bills” in place under Matt Huffman to protect you from Bird flu and weaponized Malaria. 🙄

“In a startling revelation, scientists have successfully created a mosquito that injects humans with a genetically engineered, malaria-casing parasite that travels to the liver where it infects red blood cells.”

“The bizarre experiment details were published last month in the peer-reviewed New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).”

“The same month the study was published, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation gave $2,287,871 to LUMC to develop “next generation malaria vaccine candidates,” according to the Foundation’s website.”

“The study authors write: “We conducted a double-blind, controlled clinical trial to evaluate the safety, side-effect profile, and efficacy of immunization, by means of mosquito bites, with a second-generation genetically attenuated parasite (GA2) — a mei2 single knockout P. falciparum NF54 parasite (sporozoite form) with extended development into the liver stage.”

Thank you to our Warrior moms and dads, our medical freedom healthcare workers and activist lawyers, and the Ohio legislators that continue to join us on the legislative battle field.
We look forward to partnering with you again in the coming year!
Have a blessed and Happy New Year!
The handling of Covid by “health authorities” from 2020-2023 did MORE to advance the vaccine risk awareness movement than the medical freedom community has done in 30 years.
Whoever still needs to be “red-pilled” will have their chance during Bird Flu. The harm didn’t start with Covid and it won’t end with Covid.
Even more appalling than a “Republican” governor VETOING medical FREE SPEECH while claiming to support “science”, is the blatant disregard for journalism from Dayton daily News. Clearly the author did not actually read the bill and instead made a general assumption based on a bill summary they had no understanding of. Ironically Dayton Daily News has printed misinformation about a provision of HB 73 that DeWine just vetoed based on the claim that it allows doctors to “spread misinformation”.

So, DeWine’s VETO statement is MISINFORMATION, and the reporter’s statement that the prescribing doctors get “immunity from harm” is MISINFORMATION. Is their anyone in the media that is going to #FactCheck them?

Additionally, DeWine made the ridiculous claim and that somehow medical free speech will allow doctors to “over prescribe opioids”, which are strictly protected under state law and were NOT an INCLUDED drug category that was protected under HB 73. Under both the house and Senate versions of HB 73 doctors CAN absolutely have their licenses revoked for “over prescribing opioids”.

We expect Dayton Daily News to issue an immediate retraction and correction of their FALSE statement about prescribing doctors being immune from harm. Unfortunately the only thing we can expect from DeWine is continued tyrannical behavior.
The following provisions of HB 73 that were wrapped into the HB 315 “Christmas bill” have been SIGNED into LAW:

(C) The world health organization has no jurisdiction in this state. Therefore, no political subdivision, public official, or state agency shall enforce or use any state funding to implement or incentivize any health policy guideline, mandate, recommendation, or rule issued by the world health organization, including the prohibition of issuing a prescription for or dispensing of a drug, including an off-label drug.”

“(D) At no time shall a patient in a hospital or inpatient facility be denied sufficient means of fluids or nutrition, unless that wish is clearly stated in the patient's end of life health directive, as that directive is defined by the patient, minor patient's parent/guardian, or the patient's personal representative, or the denial is necessary for a medical procedure, including a diagnostic or surgical procedure, and then only for the shortest amount of time medically possible and with the informed consent of the patient, minor patient's parent/guardian, or the patient's personal representative.”

DeWine has line-item VETOED the “medical free speech” provision which said the following:

“(B) A health-related licensing board, department of health, state board of pharmacy, or other state board or agency responsible for the licensure or regulation of health care professionals shall neither infringe on medical free speech nor threaten to pursue, or pursue, an administrative or disciplinary action against a prescriber, pharmacist, or other licensed health care professional or hospital or inpatient facility for publicly or privately expressing a medical opinion that does not align with the opinions of the board or agency, a board of health of a city or general health district, the department of health, or other health authority.”

Despite this gross action by our Governor against 1st amendment protections for health providers, we will NOT stop FIGHTING to pass medical free speech and all of the other drug prescribing and filling protections that were in HB 73. We hope more Ohioans will join us in this fight!
