Another book I would like to recommend for the new 2021 format. This one is better than Ace Ahead, according to what my friend said who is a MUET examiner. I'm also waiting for my copy now.

You all can contact Mr Tan (+60 12-955 0059) for this book. Writing listening and reading books for only RM28.

You can mention you got the number from Mdm Iman. Hopefully he can give us a discount! Hehe. Ordered my copy too, waiting for the invoice to make payment.

How To Move Forward From A Painful Past

Human society is a bunch of people scurrying around trying to find pleasure, avoid pain and strike a healthy balance between safety and growth. They screw up a lot in the process.

In order to grow in relationships, you need to accept the risk of getting close to someone. To stay safe is to remain stuck.

When you take the risk and get hurt, you grieve the hurt and begin again.

You must make the decision to live your life as an adult instead of as a wounded child. Then commit to doing the work of moving forward instead of being a constant slave to the past.

If you don’t, you are choosing to relive a time you cannot change at the expense of the present where anything is possible.

A big part of this work is forgiveness. I’ve had to forgive a lot of people in order to be happy especially those who were bullied me.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean you’re okay with it, forgiveness means you’re done reliving it and choose to move forward. Yes, forgiveness takes a lot more than that but I hope you understand my point.

Forgiveness is necessary to be able to live here and now where life is created.

Your failure to move forward in life is no one else’s fault. Nazi concentration camp survivors found ways to forgive and move forward. If they can do that you can find a way to move forward from whatever happened to you.

But what if I can’t forgive? Then acceptance can be a way forward. It’s been said that β€œAcceptance is giving up all hope for a better past.” Though you may wish it hadn’t happened, it is the reality. As it is the reality that you still have a life to live.

NOTHING requires you to do this alone. Get the help and support you need to make peace with the past so you can begin living your joyful present instead of reliving your painful past.

P/S : Please forgive me, it was my 2 cent.. hmm I dunno wht to say, arhh forget it πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚.

Alright good night πŸ‘‹πŸ»
12 Things Truly Confident People Do Differently

When it comes to confidence, one thing is certain: truly confident people always have the upper hand over the doubtful and the skittish because they inspire others and they make things happen.

Learning to be confident is clearly important, but what is it that truly confident people do that sets them apart from everyone else?

Take a look at these 12 cardinal habits of truly confident people so that you can incorporate these behaviors into your repertoire.

1. They Get Their Happiness from Within

Happiness is a critical element of confidence, because in order to be confident in what you do, you have to be happy with who you are.

2. They Don’t Pass Judgment

Comparing yourself to other people is limiting. Confident people don’t waste time sizing people up and worrying about whether or not they measure up to everyone they meet.

3. They Don’t Say Yes Unless They Really Want To

Confident people know that saying no is healthy, and they have the self-esteem to make their nos clear. When it’s time to say no, confident people avoid phrases such as β€œI don’t think I can” or β€œI’m not certain.” They say no with confidence because they know that saying no to a new commitment honors their existing commitments and gives them the opportunity to successfully fulfill them.

4. They Listen More than They Speak

People with confidence listen more than they speak because they don’t feel as though they have anything to prove. Confident people know that by actively listening and paying attention to others, they are much more likely to learn and grow.

5. They Speak with Certainty

It’s rare to hear the truly confident utter phrases such as β€œUm,” β€œI’m not sure,” and β€œI think.” Confident people speak assertively because they know that it’s difficult to get people to listen to you if you can’t deliver your ideas with conviction.

6. They Seek Out Small Victories

Confident people like to challenge themselves and compete, even when their efforts yield small victories. Small victories build new androgen receptors in the areas of the brain responsible for reward and motivation.

7. They Exercise

People who exercised twice a week for 10 weeks felt more competent socially, academically, and athletically. They also rated their body image and self-esteem higher.

8. They Don’t Seek Attention

People are turned off by those who are desperate for attention. Confident people know that being yourself is much more effective than trying to prove that you’re important. Confident people always seem to bring the right attitude.

9. They Aren’t Afraid to Be Wrong

Confident people aren’t afraid to be proven wrong. They like putting their opinions out there to see if they hold up because they learn a lot from the times they are wrong and other people learn from them when they’re right.

10. They Stick Their Necks Out

When confident people see an opportunity, they take it. Instead of worrying about what could go wrong, they ask themselves, β€œWhat’s stopping me? Why can’t I do that?” and they go for it.

11. They Celebrate Other People

Insecure people constantly doubt their relevance, and because of this, they try to steal the spotlight and criticize others in order to prove their worth. Confident people, on the other hand, aren’t worried about their relevance because they draw their self-worth from within.

12. They Aren’t Afraid to Ask for Help

Confident people know that asking other people for help won’t make them seem weak or unintelligent. They know their strengths and weaknesses, and they look to others to fill the gaps.

Bringing It All Together

Building confidence is a journey, not a destination. Please share your thoughts on the matter in the comments section as I learn just as much from you as you do from me.

P/S: R u the confident one? Some might say yes and some might nope. Hahaha really hard to maintain confident level. So yeah ikr 😬! Just keep trying dude.
