๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ 8 Smart Tips To Score in Speaking Test ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ

๐Ÿ”ฅ 1. Memorisation Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป Firs
t, try to understand and learn all the useful expressions to help you ensure smooth delivery of ideas, initiate, maintain and close a discussion. They work in all situations.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 2. Fishing Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป Read the situation carefully then ask the examiners what it means ( even if you are sure that you already understand because they could give you some vocabulary ) .

๐Ÿ”ฅ 3. Parroting Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป If your mind goes blank, donโ€™t worry. Just say that you agree and repeat everything that your friends have just said. Youโ€™ll still get marks for participation.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 4. Bimbo Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป If you have absolutely nothing to say, repeat this sentence: โ€œIโ€™m sorry, I donโ€™t understand your point. Could you please explain it again?โ€

๐Ÿ”ฅ 5. Cooperative Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป If your friend canโ€™t remember a word / phrase or has difficulties to explain his / her ideas, you MUST help him / her by suggesting other words / phrases / ideas. You will get points for teamwork.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 6. Equal Opportunity Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป Never monopolize a conversation by wanting to talk all the time and never give others the chance to speak. Instead, always ask other candidates for their opinion. Encourage the quiet ones to speak and you will get higher marks for that.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 7. Anti-Donkey Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป Pay attention to the stipulated time and when it almost reaches to the end of 10 minutes, just choose to agree with one person (even if in real life, actually you don't see eye to eye with him / her. There's no point of being stubborn in the test.)

P/S : However, it is not necessary to agree on one point. If the team cannot come to a total agreement, then it's okay. You can still maintain your view.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 8. Concluding Technique:

โœ๐Ÿป Make sure you have agreed and decided who will do the conclusion BEFORE entering the exam room. Pay close attention to the stipulated time and steer everyone to making the right conclusion.

How smartphone light affects your brain and body

There's something incredibly powerful about the blue lights that the designers of our smartphone, tablet, and laptop screens have been able to create. The lights in these screens glow so bright that we can see them even during a sunny day. At night, they're bright enough that they've been compared to a "little window" that daylight can peer through.

That's why โ€” hard as it might be to stop โ€” looking at your phone at night is a terrible idea.

Our bodies naturally follow a cycle that helps us stay awake and alert during the day and helps us get essential rest at night. But when we look at these screens as we're getting ready for sleep, our brains get confused. That light has a similar effect to the sight of the morning sun, which causes the brain to stop producing melatonin, a hormone that gives your body "time to sleep" cues. By disrupting melatonin production, smartphone light can disrupt your sleep cycle like an artificially induced sort of jet lag. This makes it harder to fall and stay asleep โ€” and potentially causes serious health problems along the way.

To combat this problem, app designers have created programs like f.lux and Apple's Night Shift mode for iPhones, both of which adjust the light tones emitted by screens to remove bright blue light from the display at certain times of day. Many users swear by the effects of these apps and the orange tint they create does feel less harsh on the eyes. But while there's some research indicating that the dimmer light may improve sleep, more study is needed on the topic in general.

And even if there is some improvement, many of the other things we do with our phones are also not conducive to sleep. If you're trying to get ready for bed and a late night work email pops up, that might wreck your sleep even more than shutting down your melatonin production might.

If you can bring yourself to do it, your best bet is probably to steer clear of screens in general before you fall asleep โ€” try to keep them out of your bed, at least.

๐Ÿ“ฉ Hi everyone !! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜Š

Today I'll explain about the VARK learning styles ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ

๐Ÿ’Œ Hope you will find it very useful and can help you to understand your preferred style of learning better ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

๐Ÿ’Œ We do have all these styles in ourselves, but let's identify which one is the most dominant for us.๐Ÿ’ก

๐Ÿท There are 4 different types of learning style,i.e :

1โƒฃ Visual
2โƒฃ Auditory
3โƒฃ Read / write
4โƒฃ kinesthetic

The first one is the visual style of learning,

๐Ÿ‘€ Visual = see,
So it means that you learn better by seeing information ๐Ÿ“ˆ๐Ÿ“Š

For example, seeing ;

๐ŸŒผ Graphs / charts
๐ŸŒผ Powerpoints
๐ŸŒผ Etc

๐Ÿ”– Visual learners also have strong visualization skills and can remember objects, shapes, pictures

๐Ÿ”– Visual learners learn by watching videos, demonstrations

๐Ÿ”–They can see pictures in their mind

๐Ÿ“ฅ The next one is...๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿฅ

๐Ÿ‘‚ The auditory style, which is my most preferred style of learning ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜„

As an auditory learner, I need to hear information. ๐ŸŽง

๐ŸŽ™ Some examples of methods that you can apply as an auditory learner are... :

๐ŸŽง Reading out loud (so you can hear the information instead of just reading it in your heart โค๏ธ)

๐ŸŽง Listening to your own recorded speech / explanation about certain topics

๐ŸŽง Listening to podcasts

๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ“š The third style is Read / write.โœ

๐Ÿ“ You learn the effective way by reading and writing,
For example ;

๐Ÿ“š reading books / texts
๐Ÿ“– Reading dictionaries
๐Ÿ–Œ Note-taking

And last but not least...๐Ÿ™ˆ

๐Ÿ– The kinesthetic style,
Which means that,
You learn by DOING things. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ”– If kinesthetic is your preferred style, it indicates that you are a hands-on learner โœ‹๐Ÿ–๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽจ

P / s : However it also depends on what subject it is that you're studying and your environment.

5 Tactics to Master the Haters

The internet is the Wild West. If you're stepping up, be prepared for haters to pull you down.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 1. Pay them no mind

Money and success follow attentionโ€”you wonโ€™t get either without attracting haters. Here are five things to remember:

Donโ€™t get emotional. Stay rational when you are getting "pinged" by the haters and critics. Say, โ€œThanks for that, I will take it into consideration.โ€ Then, throw it away. Getting emotional messes with your productivity.

Donโ€™t fear the hater, be afraid of those who listen. Friends, family, and people on your team who are weak enough to buy into the hate are more dangerous to you than the haters themselves. Get rid of the weak people who pass on criticsโ€™ garbage.

Haters are spectators. Players don't take feedback or criticism from spectators; those people rarely have success in their own lives because they're too busy "speculating" on the lives of the successful. I value correction from other players but never value criticism from haters.

Never waste a hater. Haters should not be wished away but used as fuel to take you to the next level. So many people have talked about how they used haters to inspire their success.

Remember, there has never been a successful person who wasnโ€™t criticized or hated on!

๐Ÿ”ฅ 2. Show them how to win

It came to the point where I was bullied online with personal attacks for my bold opinions. I chose to ignore the haters and focus on work, one day at a time. Being a one-person show for the first couple of years, I simply didnโ€™t have the time for the haters. Slowly but surely, the fruits of my labor started to create positive buzz, proving that you can have an authentic voice and profit from it at the same time.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 3. Use them as fuel

The writer Elbert Hubbard told us, โ€œTo avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.โ€ Those of us who choose to live and share content in a way that impacts people canโ€™t avoid criticism. Instead, we must embrace it.

One particular piece generated the most hate. HuffPost did a four-part piece on the four addictions I covered in the book. Each week, people took the time to share which addiction stopped them, and I shared a solution.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 4. Ignore the bullies

I categorize people into three categories:

The lost causes: 33 percent who donโ€™t care who you are

The haters: 33 percent who hate you for what you stand for, how you look, the things you say, and a million other reasons that you'll never understand

The lovers: the final 34 percent who like and love everything you do.

Thatโ€™s what haters do: they shout from the rooftops until their lungs give out. Once they notice no one is listening, they move on. Storms pass and all seasons bring new weather.

Ignore hate as best as you can. Always responding to hate only increases the problem and its attention.

Instead, focus entirely on those who love you, what you do, and what you stand for. Your loyal family, friends, and fans deserve all your attention and service. They'll always have your back and love you unconditionally if you service them with incredible value.

๐Ÿ”ฅ 5. Itโ€™s them, not you

Weirdly, haters validate your stance: they prove your polarizing effect in the world. So, youโ€™ll have some haters, but a another group of people who resonate with you. Focus on that, and you'll be prepared to face the haters.

I hope you are not a disappointment as the rest of the months before you.

Dear friends,

Don't take people opinions about you bcoz it may pull you down. Be happy with yourself, the way you're. Just ignore when people said you're a weirdo. There is one thing that they don't know. You're a pretty gem, hidden in an unexplored gemstone mine and your value quite higher than the stones at the roadsides.
