๐Ÿฅถ The Cool Planet ๐Ÿฅถ

Thousands of miles from Earth, on the far side of the universe, is a small planet, Fliptune. It is dark and cold, far from the sun, behind a much bigger planet. Little green aliens live there. They use torches to see.

One day, a young alien, Neila, put the wrong batteries in her torch. Suddenly, there was a dazzling beam of light. It went up into the sky, around the sun and hit planet Earth.

The light hit a boy called Billy and his dog, Splodge. Neila quickly turned the torch off, but the pair were sucked up by the light. They flew through space and landed near Neila.

โ€˜Hello,โ€™ said Billy. Neila waved.

โ€˜Wow!โ€™ said Billy. โ€˜Everythingโ€™s made of ice cream!โ€™ Splodge licked his paw.

โ€˜The ice cream never melts, and nobody eats it. Itโ€™s too cold here,โ€™ said Neila.

โ€˜It will in my tummy,โ€™ thought Splodge.

Neila looked sad. โ€˜Can you help us?โ€™ she said. โ€˜We need sunshine to make things grow.โ€™

โ€˜No problem,โ€™ said Billy. โ€˜Can you get us home? I have an idea.โ€™

โ€˜Wait there!โ€™ said Neila.

She got her torch, put the wrong batteries in again โ€“ ZOOM! Billy and Splodge were speeding back to Earth.

Billy pointed his bedroom mirror between the sun and Fliptune. The sunโ€™s rays bounced off the mirror and up onto Neilaโ€™s planet.

Thanks to Billy, Fliptune is not cold any more. Splodge moves the mirror each day to keep the sun shining there. Now Neila and her friends sit in the sun and enjoy all that free ice cream.

THE END

๐Ÿ“š Story Time ๐Ÿ“–

The Woodencutter โœ‚๏ธ

Once upon a time, a very strong woodcutter asked for a job in a timber merchant, and he got it. His salary was really good and so were the working conditions. For that reason, the woodcutter was determined to do his best. His boss gave him an Axe and showed him the area where he was supposed to fell the trees.

The first day, the woodcutter brought fifteen trees. โ€œCongratulations,โ€ the boss said, โ€œCarry on with your work!โ€. Highly motivated by the words of his boss, the woodcutter tried harder the next day, but he only could bring ten trees. The third day he tried even harder, but he was only able to bring seven trees.

Day after day he was bringing less and fewer trees โ€œI must be losing my strengthโ€. The woodcutter thought. He went to the boss and apologized, saying that he could not understand what was going on โ€œWhen was the last time you sharpened your axe?โ€ The boss asked โ€œSharpen? I had no time to sharpen my axe, I have been very busy trying to cut treesโ€ The woodcutter replied.

Moral of the story :

Most of us never try to update our skills. We tend to think that whatever we have learned is pretty enough. But then, it is not good actually when better is expected. Sharpening our skills from time to time is the key to success.

๐Ÿฆ€ The Clever Crab ๐Ÿฆ€

There lived a heron by a big lake. He used to catch fish and eat them. But he had become old and could not catch fish like before. He went without food for many days together.

โ€œI have to think of a plan. Otherwise I won't live for long," thought the heron. Soon he came out with a clever plan. The heron sat at the waterโ€™s edge looking depressed and thoughtful. In the same lake lived a crab who was friendly and thoughtful. As he went past, he noticed how the heron looked and asked him, โ€œWhy are you looking depressed my friend?"

โ€œWhat can I say," said the heron in a sad voice. โ€œSomething terrible is going to happen."

โ€œWhat is that?" asked the crab anxiously.

โ€œWhen I was on my way here this morning, I heard an astrologer say that there will be no rains in these parts for the next twelve years. The lake will dry up and we will all die. I am quite old. It does not matter if I die. But you all are so young. There is so much for you to see and enjoy," said the heron.

The crab went to the fishes in the lake and told them what the heron had told him. They were all filled with fear. โ€œO no! What do we do? We will all die." they cried.

โ€œThere is a very big lake some distance from here. I can take you all there one by one." offered the heron. All the fishes were comforted and they agreed to be carried to the bigger lake one by one.

Every day, the heron would fly the fishes one by one. He would hold one gingerly between his long beak and fly away. But instead of taking them to any lake, he would land on a rock some distance away and eat them. Then he would rest till evening and return to the lake.

After some days, the crab went up to the heron. โ€œYou have been taking the fishes to the other lake. When will you take me?" he asked.

The heron thought to himself, โ€œI am tired of eating fish. Crab meat should be a pleasant change." The heron agreed to take the crab to the other lake.

But the crab was too large for the heron to carry in his beak. So the crab climbed on to the heronโ€™s back and they started the journey. After a while, the crab grew impatient.

โ€œHow far is the lake?" he asked the heron.

โ€œYou fool," laughed the heron. โ€œI am not taking you to any lake. I am going to dash you against those rocks and eat you like I ate all those fishes."

โ€œI am not a fool to allow you to kill me," said the crab.

He held the heronโ€™s neck in his powerful claws and strangled the wicked heron to death.

The Dolphins ๐Ÿฌ, the Whales ๐Ÿ‹ and the Sprat ๐ŸŸ

In a sea, there lived Dolphins, Whales and other small colourful fishes.

One day, the Whales harmed the fishes, who were friends of the Dolphins. The Dolphins got angry and started fighting with the Whales.

All the Dolphins gathered to fight against the huge Whales. The Whales said that they were big and strong. The Dolphins said that they were superior to the Whales. It looked like the fight would never stop.

When the fight became very serious, a Sprat lifted his head out of the sea and said, โ€œI will solve the matter. I can stop the fight, only if you all accept me as your king.โ€

One of the Dolphins was very wise. He understood that the Sprat was taking advantage of the fight between the Whales and the Dolphins.

He replied, โ€œWe might get killed in our fight with each other, but will not let anybody interfere in our matter.โ€

The Spratโ€™s idea of ruling over the fishes failed. He understood that the Dolphins were very wise. They knew the interference of a third person would be harmful for everyone.

THE END

Moral of the story : Never let any outsiders get involve in your internal matters. They might take advantage of us or make the small things become the bigger issues.

Last but not least, that titled "The Prince And The Snake" ๐Ÿ๐Ÿคด๐Ÿฝ

This Short Story The Prince and The Snake is quite interesting to all the people. Enjoy reading this story.

The kingdom of Vijaygarh had a wise and kind King. People were happy. But the King himself was sad and worried. A devilish snake had entered his sonโ€™s body. Neither medicine nor magic worked to cure his son.

When the Prince grew up, he thought, โ€œIt is because of me that my father worried." And one day, he left the palace. Wandering, he came to another kingdom. He found a desolate temple and started living there. He begged for food.

The King of that kingdom was cruel. But he had a kind and beautiful daughter. The King was unhappy with his daughter. That girl was always ridiculing her fatherโ€™s hard work. The King thought, โ€œShe is always talking to me low of my hard work. I must marry her to a beggar. Then she will know what hard work is."

So, when the beggar Prince came to beg for food in the Palace, the cruel King forced him to marry his daughter. The Prince and his new bride started for the desolate temple. On their way, they stopped to take rest. The Princess went around in search of food, while her husband went to sleep.

When the Princess came back, she was shocked to see a snake sitting on her husbandโ€™s mouth. On a mount nearby sat another snake. They were talking among themselves. โ€œWhy do not you leave the body of the Prince? He is so kind and gentle," said the snake sitting on the mound. โ€œYou too are evil! You attack passers-by. You should not be telling me what to do," replied the snake sitting on the mouth of the Prince.

The Princess killed both the snakes with all her courage. When her husband woke up, she told him about the two snakes. The Prince was happy. Then he told her who he really was. They set off to the Princeโ€™s palace. The King was delighted to see his son. When the King learned that the devilish snake was killed, his joy knew no bounds. The Prince and the Princess lived happily for a long time. After few years, the Kingdom celebrated the day on which the Royal couple gave birth to twins of one boy and one girl.
