Update on Vesting Contracts & Liquidity Wallet
Hi W Chain Community,
We want to give you a clear update regarding the vesting contracts and the liquidity wallet. The previous vesting contract mechanism ran into technical issues, which prevented vested tokens from being released on schedule. To keep operations running smoothly during this period, we temporarily utilized tokens from the liquidity provision wallet — as previously communicated by the Wayfinders.
We are now implementing a new and improved vesting process designed to be more reliable and secure. Once the new system is fully operational, we will replenish the liquidity wallet with the exact amount that was used.
We understand this situation has caused some confusion and concern, and we sincerely appreciate your patience as we complete the transition.
Further updates will be shared as soon as we have concrete timelines.

A: Integration is actively in progress. We’re working closely with the team on this — more details coming soon.
Q: Is the L2 still a thing?
A: Not at the moment.
Q: What happened to the tokenisation meeting Anish mentioned in October?
A: That specific discussion did not move forward.
Q: Are we still looking at becoming a DAO in the future?
A: We continue to explore long-term decentralization options, including DAO structures.
Q: BPKH partnered with Wadzpay for blockchain cashless payments for pilgrims — when does W Chain benefit?
A: The entire program is designed to run on W Chain.
Q: Small print says W Chain isn’t available in UAE or Singapore?
A: W Chain is available and fully usable in both markets. WCO is currently not available for sale there only because the exchanges we’re listed on don’t support those regions yet.
Q: Is the stablecoin still coming?

We want to walk you through this transparently.
What happened:
MEXC has notified us that WCO will be delisted from their platform on July 24, 2026, following their internal token performance review process.
Why this happened:
Due to the current broader market downturn, combined with the community's preference for trading WCO on Bitrue, our trading volume on MEXC was not meeting required thresholds.
We worked with our MM and ran campaigns to support activity there, but the volume simply could not sustain the listing.
Your funds are safe:
MEXC has confirmed withdrawals remain open even after the delisting date.
Exchanges you can still trade WCO:
- Bitmart
- Bitrue
Both remain fully active with no disruption to trading.
What's next:
We are actively in discussions with exchanges. We'll share updates the moment there's something concrete to announce.
Meantime, your WCO holdings, on-chain activity, and all W Chain products remain completely unaffected.
