Turns out my account had been placed under what they call an “Access Block” what most people refer to as being shadow banned.

The difference is, Facebook labels it as permanent. You still have full access to the app, so from your perspective everything looks normal.

You can post, scroll, interact nothing seems restricted.

But in reality, you’re effectively invisible. Your posts aren’t being shown to anyone, not your friends, family, or followers. You’re just posting into a void without realising it.

From what I understand, Facebook applies different levels of access blocks depending on the type of violation.

The most severe category can result in a lifetime restriction, where your content is never surfaced to others ever again.
