Amazon Hoarded THOUSANDS of Audio Clips from TikTok Starโs Home Devices
When TikTok star @my.data.not.yours requested all the data Amazon had stored on her, she was shocked to find a huge trove of audio files - all gleaned from her home devices - as well as her entire contacts and location.
She found 3,534 clips in one folder alone, organized into folders named โRoutinesโ, โShoppingโ and โVideoโ among others - even including records of her turning on her lights - but sympathy was seemingly in short supply.
Although she said she was โnot totally comfortable with everything they have,โ commenters on her viral video that attracted over 2.6mn views were apparently more shocked she didnโt realize Amazon collected personal data.
