But if there was ever any doubt as to the meaning of serpent and its place in healing, the words of Jesus erase all doubt:

I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heavenโ€”the Son of Man.
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of Godโ€™s one and only Son.
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God. (John 3:11-21)

I meant the sods, but it can be any organic material you can find. Take a look at the video and what he throws into his high bed... I probably wouldn't put chunks of wood in there. This video is just one of many examples of how you can fill your raised bed.

If you want an alternative to potatoes based on that soil, I would probably do it as shown in the photo. Not all plants can handle fresh horse manure like carrots or onions, so I would leave that out. The fine-grained compost is a better choice. Nevertheless, the horse manure would be good for the pumpkins or courgettes. The cardboard underneath the compost prevents the grass from gaining momentum and taking over!

Bordeaux mix. 1:1:100
Copper Sulphate: builder's lime: water.
The original blight preventative. Keep it away from waterways and only use if necessary as it does harm earthworms

This is the VERY ROUGH plan for now ๐Ÿ˜‚ still not sure what goes on what beds and what I can mix or what's best to grow or do full beds of one thing I have no idea trying to figure it out as I go. All suggestions welcome . All pototes in the lazy bed at the bottom except for one I will try pumpkin and courgettes as suggested!(not drawn to scale or by a child ๐Ÿ˜‚)

A really good plant food too:

Place 1/3 nettle 2/3 water, into a coverable container, leave for a few weeks, the stench will let you know it's ready.
Add 1 part nettle solution to 9 parts water (10 per 100) (hope I've explained this bit correctly) excellent for hemp plants etc.
Before I discovered Charles Dowding's 'No Dig' method I had studied a lot of Jean-Martin Fortier (The Market Gardener). The latter method is more time efficient and to be honest, I like Jean-Martin's style a bit better than Charles'.

One trick is flame weeding carrots for example. Carrots have a long growing season and the weeds can quickly overtake them. Jean-Martin recommends sowing a few radish seeds as a 'marker' with the carrots together and the moment the radishes appear you go over the whole bed with the flame weeder and get rid of any weeds in no time. The carrot will appear a few days after the radish and will remain undamaged!
