According to a medieval Irish text known as Lebor Gabála Érenn (The Book of the Taking of Ireland), the Goidels or the Gaels were said to have originated in the ancient city of Babel, which was located in Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq).

The legend suggests that one of the sons of King Fénius Farsaid, a legendary king of Scythia, named Góidil (also known as Goidel Glas), traveled to Babel with his father to study languages. While in Babel, Góidil learned the original language spoken by Adam and Eve, which he later named Goidelic, and he became the founder of the Gaelic race.

The legend states that after learning the Goidelic language, Góidil and his followers migrated to Scythia, and from there to Egypt, before eventually settling in Spain and later in Ireland. The story suggests that the Goidels were a people with a divine origin, and that their language was sacred.

It's important to note that the legend is just that- a legend- and is not based on any archaeological or historical evidence. However, the story has been significant in shaping the cultural identity of the Irish and their connection to the ancient world.

A Gulf Cartel member was filmed with what Milenio TV said was a Javelin anti-tank missile

A militant wearing the insignia of Mexico’s notorious Gulf Cartel (Cartel Del Golfo, CDG) was filmed in the state of Tamaulipas carrying a US-made anti-tank missile launcher. Milenio TV identified the weapon as a Javelin, thousands of which were sent to Ukraine by the Pentagon.
