Sunak and Macron Announce New Migrant Detention Centre: Highlights from Joint Summit
โช๏ธThe UK will help fund the new detention centre, contributing ยฃ479m over three years to help tackle the small boat migration problem, which is more than double it currently gives to Paris.
โช๏ธMoney will also be given for extra French police patrols - around 500 - to prevent boat launches.
โช๏ธMore drones and other surveillance technologies will be supported by legislation to be introduced in the UK.
