Lots of cameras to see what you are up to. Card only payments at the checkouts - no cash. If your not part of the system then you don't fit in here.

On the other side, you have individuals like Paul Murphy, various NGOs, journalists, etc whose social status is built up on the current system staying exactly as it is. Because the solutions to problems like this are "far right" they will do whatever the regime tells them and support increasingly totalitarian measures to deal with the problem.

My worry is that because the situation is changing so quickly, the regime will act in a disproportionately kneejerk manner, especially if we see the situation escalate further.”

‘Gay Clubs’ Run In Seminaries, Says Pope Benedict In Posthumous Attack On Francis

Gay “clubs” operate openly in Catholic seminaries, the institutions that prepare men for the priesthood, the late Pope Benedict XVI has claimed in a posthumously published book scathing of Pope Francis’s progressive agenda. 

In a blistering attack on the state of the Catholic Church under his successor’s papacy, Benedict, who died on Dec 31 at the age of 95, said that the vocational training of the next generation of priests is on the verge of “collapse”.

He claimed that some bishops allow trainee priests to watch pornographic films as an outlet for their sexual urges.

"You would have a far-Right government in every country in Europe"

An item in the Swedish news caught my attention the other day.

Swedish state TV was in Davos. They took the opportunity to interview Alex Karp, head of tech company Palantir.

Palantir has developed AI technology for American intelligence agencies and now they're working with Ukrainian military to counter the Russian invasion.

What caught my attention was an offhand comment Karp made about a completely different topic...

After the mandatory cringe COVID fist-bump, he tells the reporter about one of his AI products:

"This product has stopped major terror attacks multiple times every year... And I believe... One of the things I'm most proud of is that... if those terror attacks had happened, you would have a far-Right government in every single country in Europe... and especially in the [Nordic countries]."

Presumably, Karp is saying that migrants would have caused so many terror attacks that every country in Europe would elect a "far-Right" government to end the madness.

Now, this brings up several issues:

1. Mass immigration is such a bad idea that you need the latest AI tech to prevent if from causing civil war. (And even with that tech, mass immigration is destroying Europe.)

2. The appropriate response would be to elect "far-Right" governments to end the problem. In fact, that is what people would do if not for this AI technology.

3. What does this say about our "democracy"? European countries need to elect "far-Right" governments, but the ruling class is using the latest AI tech to prevent that from happening...
