Kilkenny excess deaths off the charts
December 22 deaths compared to December 19 (Pre Covid) are up 58 (83%).
December 22 sudden deaths compared to December 19 are up 9 (180%)
From July to December 2022 overall deaths are up 162 (41%) compared to July to December 19. Thatโs 324 extra deaths in a full year, over six a week.
July to December 2022 sudden deaths are up 46 (131%) compared to July to December 19, nearly two extra a week.
Year 2020 was the height of the pandemic when lockdowns, masks and self-isolating were being pushed by the HSE and Government.

Only got a chance to listen to the John McGhee interview. And he is right there are very few embalmers or funeral directors not vaccinated. It's beginning to slow down abit this week. The thing is the sudden deaths are still being swabbed for COVID before a postmortem is performed. It's taken a year now for families to get the results of that postmortem from the coroner's court. I know Stafford's in the tayto place did not get their planning for the crematorium. Also they have fridges there for the coroner and they were over run with bodies waiting for the coroner to get through what they had in Dublin city mortuary
