I once did a course at seedsavers on polytunnels and this paper was handed out. It is unfortunately not in a good quality. It shows that in the Irish climate you have to start sowing very early (August) to have a harvest over the winter period...and this is also my experience. There is hardly any growth in the dark and cold months.

Magnitude 6.9 earthquake strikes off the coast of Japan, country's Meteorological Agency confirms
The strong quake, which was initially recorded with a magnitude of 7.2, hit at a depth of 37 miles off the coast of Miyagi prefecture, local authorities confirmed. An earlier tsunami warning for parts of the country has since been lifted.
