Serological CMV positivity has been found to be a major immune risk factor and CMV positive seniors (40-90%) have increased c19 mortality and generally a markedly shortened life-span compared to CMV negatives. Chronic CMV - like ongoing exposure to mRNA - inoculation-induced viral proteins lead to single-sided expansion of C19 specific T-cell - clones on the expense of defense to other viruses. Furthermore , the cytotoxic T cell population (CD8 +) in general will be over-differentiate into highly specific effector memory (EM) cells, which upon constant stimulation will lose functionality, proliferative capacity and cross-reactivity to other viruses.
By contrast to CMV C19-vaccines usual viral or conventional vaccine challenges are readily overcome by healthy immune systems, resulting in proliferation of cross-reactive clones providing long/lasting protecting from a range of viruses.
Research on immune senescence has been extensively funded in the past 3 decades and I think the main objective of these endeavors was to find ways to accelerate immune aging , that is killing the old in a rather humane, statistical way.
