A lot of farmers used to grow sugarbeet to use as feed for cattle instead of buying expensive grain, like wheat.
The Irish government decided that it wasn't economical to keep producing our own sugar/cattle feed. They are a pack of gobshites.

"What do you miss most when your away from Ireland".....I miss Ireland and it's real people for what they suffered for centuries,what they laboured for, what they went through,what they sacrificed,what they worked so hard for to make the country what it was and what it has been only to be taken away by bought and corrupt politicians who don't care for its people. Communism is the route of destruction of any nation were politicians put themselves above its people were power consumes them so much that it takes them over,were the little person becomes nothing and they become all. What's going on in Ireland and across the Western culture is mind blowing. All countries have lost their way,their beautiful individual culture were you visited to learn about it's past but now has become one individual culture of a third worldism. These people are not Irish,are not French, not British,not German,not Spanish,not European. They have taken us over through the power of the elites who don't care about is but will use them for their benefit to destroy nations. When those from the middle East and Africa who want to get rid of all whites are gone,what will they do,they will just turn on each other and the hatred will never stop. They have no respect for any of the countries that have taken them in. It's just plunder everything that they can because governments have encouraged it....RIP Europe for you dug your own grave.
