❗️EU announces $574 million in support for Lebanon through 2027

The European Commission announced €505 ($574) million in financial support for Lebanon for 2026 and 2027, representing the second half of a €1 ($1.14) billion package unveiled by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her May 2024 visit to Beirut.

Escalation of the Zionist regime's attacks on southern Lebanon:
🔹The occupying Zionist regime has continued its aggressions against southern Lebanon, carrying out airstrikes and explosions, and shelling villages and towns with artillery.
🔹The Zionist army also caused a large explosion around the city of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon and shelled the outskirts of the town of Kafra with artillery.

"Israeli" enemy army radio:

The "Israeli" army has significantly reduced the size of its combat forces in the security zone in southern Lebanon in recent days: the number of brigades in the sector has decreased from 8 to 6, and many reserve forces have been released.

Four brigades have left Lebanon in recent days – the Commando Brigade (which operated in the Ali Al-Taher ridge), the Golani Brigade (which fought in the Beaufort area), and two reserve brigades – Reserve Paratroopers Brigade 55 and Reserve Armored Brigade 4 ("Kiryati").

In place of the four brigades that left, only two regular brigades entered the sector – the 188th Armored Brigade and the Bislamach Training Brigade.

Thus, the number of combat brigades in the security zone in Lebanon has decreased from 8 brigades to 6 in total.

A military source familiar with the details told "Israeli" army radio that the reduction in forces is an attempt to ease the burden on manpower, particularly reserve manpower, after many months of fighting in Lebanon and in light of the operational circumstances that allow it. All details were published with the approval of the security authorities.
