Over 300 Canadian Soldiers Launch $500 Million Lawsuit Against Military For COVID Vaccine Mandates
Around 330 active or former members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) have filed a class-action lawsuit against high-ranking members of the military, asking for approximately $500m in damages over the imposition of a Covid-19 vaccine mandate. The lawsuit claims the CAF rushed an untested product on to its members, mislabelled it a โvaccine,โ and made false statements of safety and efficacy. The lawsuit also alleges that the CAF used abusive power and ignored privacy laws, the right to choose medical treatment, and religious beliefs.

German Central Bank May Need Bailout After ECB Bond Scheme Losses: Audit Office
Germany's federal audit office, the Bundesrechnungshof, has warned that the Bundesbank may need a government bailout to cover losses incurred by the European Central Bank's bond-buying scheme. "The possible Bundesbank losses are substantial and could necessitate a recapitalisation of the [bank] with budgetary funds," says the report. The document criticises the ECB's โฌ2.7tn ($3.2tn) public sector purchase scheme, which was launched in 2015. Purchasing masses of bonds to cut borrowing costs has long been contentious in Germany; the Bundesbank argued against such purchases in 2015 but was outvoted.

West Plotting โColor Revolutionโ In Serbia โ Moscow
Western nations appear to be laying the groundwork for a โcolor revolutionโ in Serbia, according to Valentina Matvienko, the speaker of the upper chamber of Russiaโs parliament. She claimed public anger is being whipped up following two mass shootings in the country.
โWhat we have today is a classic example of network-centric warfare, when net structures under Western control use some hot-button issue to destabilize the situation, hoping it would serve as a trigger. Then they provoke mass demonstrations and deploy prepared local opposition,โ she said in an interview with Sputnik Serbia on Monday.
Matvienko said the same approach was used during the Arab Spring uprisings and in Iran. In Serbiaโs case, she added, the US and its allies are seeking to stir public anger over the two mass shootings, which took place in Belgrade and Mladenovac.

Turkish Lira Hits All-Time Low
The Turkish lira was trading flat on Tuesday, remaining at a record low against the US dollar after Tรผrkiyeโs central bank stopped using forex reserves to maintain the national currencyโs exchange rate.
Last week, Bloomberg reported that Tรผrkiye had spent some $200 billion to support the lira in the previous 18 months, depleting reserves as it kept interest rates artificially low.
The central bankโs net international reserves dropped to a 21-year low of $2.33 billion in the week to May 12, as forex demand surged ahead of elections.
The bank stated that the latest steps were meant to free up markets and ensure stability over the weekend, while a senior official said it had adjusted its foreign exchange policy, Reuters reported.
