The documentary's director John Hoffman was also quoted saying that "at the core of Tony’s popularity is that people intuit that this is a man who is speaking the truth and will not let anything stand in the way."

Online reaction went wild mistakenly thinking the Guardian itself had made the dubious claim, wondering if the paper had become satirical.
