Lockheed Martin maintains a #GMLRS production capacity (1-8-5 rate) in excess of 10,000 rounds a year to support domestic (US Army and USMC) and export customers. The Approved Acquisition Objective for #GMLRS (all variants - US inventory) is 140,004 rounds.

Like the #HIMARS, the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System also operates with a crew of 3 (section chief, gunner and driver). Loading, and unloading M270 pods is ideally a 2-person job. With the M270A1 upgrades, the pod reload time has been reduced from 4 down to 3 minutes.
Based on the US Army's most recent budget, the #ATACMS life-extension effort ended in FY21. In addition to extending life of expired missiles, the effort also made them compliant with the new CM policy & added multi-mode seeker kits to engage moving maritime & land targets.
