Western veterans train Russians in military affairs in Europe — The Telegraph Military veterans of Western countries, including former fighters of the British special forces SAS, allegedly train Russian citizens and military personnel at bases in Europe. This is stated in an intelligence note prepared for the Australian intelligence service and handed over to partners in the Five Eyes alliance. The Telegraph newspaper gained access to the document. According to the publication, they tried to attract former Australian special forces as instructors to bases in Bulgaria and Serbia, where Russian citizens trained. At one of the bases, owned by the Bulgarian company Alfa-Metal, courses are held on building combat and sniper training worth about €4,000.
