Reuters: The Trump administration is preparing to move forward with a more than $700 million sale of GE jet engines to Turkey to power the country’s indigenous KAAN fighter jet.
According to Reuters, the package covers roughly 80 engines and is expected to be finalized ahead of next month’s NATO summit, despite months of congressional opposition over Turkey’s purchase of Russia’s S-400 air defense system.

What appears to be the first publicly released footage of a Ukrainian fighter using Ukrainian glide bombs to hit a Russian position.
Ukraine has been working on its domestic-manufactured glide bomb program for years, and is likely finally fielding units. https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/2069878788192666100/video/1

RT @BrettErickson28: One of the most bizarre aspects I have seen after the official text of the Memorandum of Understanding was released a week ago is the amount of "experts" who are pushing for alternative terms that are... so clearly detached from reality?
Let's start with escrow accounts for the Iranian oil sanction waivers... Why on EARTH would Iran agree to have their oil revenues locked up and controlled by the United States? The alternative is that they can sell it to China, like they ALWAYS have regardless of sanctions, and have guaranteed revenues without concern about the US refusing to hand it over...
It makes ZERO sense.
My new favorite though, is the absolutely INSANE proposed alternative that we should "force" Iran to purchase Skylink terminals for the Iranian people... What are we doing man... This isn't "public discourse" or "policy recommendations", this is just downright absurdity.
Why would Iran agree to that?
I understand that many people, myself included, are not "happy" with the terms of the US/Iran MOU, but guess what? NOBODY CARES!
Nobody cares if you like the outcome of this war. Nobody cares if you like the terms of the MOU.
Nobody cares.
Reality is reality, whether or not you are happy about it. Iran holds the leverage. Therefore Iran gets to dictate the terms. That is how it has been every time since the dawn of man.
Accept it.

Trump on Turkish President Erdogan:
He's a friend of mine, and he stayed out of the war.
You know, he was a prime candidate to go into the war with Iran.
Maybe, on the Iran's side, because he's not a big fan of Israel, as you know.
And I asked him to stay out. He stayed out.

Reporter: Turkey wants F-35 fighter jets. Are you going to Turkey with a big gift bag?
Trump: Yeah. I think so. He’s a member of NATO. I'm going to probably do something that's gonna make him very happy. Except for the fact that it was being held in Turkey by President Erdogan, I don't think I would have gone to it.
Rutte: You would come for me?
