U.S. President Donald J. Trump told ABC News on Monday he thinks he will have an agreement with Iran to extend the ceasefire and reopen the Strait of Hormuz “over the next week.” Adding that a deal is, “Looking good, looking good,” while referencing today’s spat between Israel and Iran over Israel’s continued military operations in Lebanon, calling it a “little glitch,” and stating, “So, I spoke with Hezbollah, and I said no shooting, and I talked to Bibi [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu], and said, no shooting, and they both stopped shooting each other.”

In a post moments ago on TruthSocial, President Trump again referenced his calls earlier today with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and representatives of Hezbollah, in which he allegedly asked both sides to stop “shooting” at each other and for Israel to halt a major raid of Beirut. Trump closes the post by stating, “Let's see how long that lasts — Hopefully it will be for ETERNITY!”

As peace talks between Iran and the United States continue to flounder over the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s nuclear program and now Israeli escalation in Lebanon, chances on Polymarket of a permanent peace agreement between the two countries by the end of June have fallen to a new low, currently sitting at only 25%.

U.S. President Donald Trump:

"I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu today, asking him not to go into a major raid of Beirut, Lebanon. He turned his Troops around. Thank you Bibi! I also had a conversation with Representatives of the Leaders of Hezbollah, and they agreed to stop shooting at Israel, and its soldiers. Likewise, Israel agreed to stop shooting at them. Let’s see how long that lasts — Hopefully it will be for ETERNITY! President DONALD J. TRUMP."

Russia is currently carrying out a large-scale combined missile-drone attack on Ukraine.

Sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles struck the cities of Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, while Shahed/Geran-type long-range OWA-UAVs hit Sumy and Kharkiv.

Also, the launches of Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95/Tu-160 strategic bombers have been reported minutes ago. If the launches were real, the missiles are expected to enter the Ukrainian airspace in less than an hour.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran has already restored about two-thirds of the underground missile bases that were targeted by U.S. and Israeli strikes.
▪️ in just seven weeks, Iran has cleared 50 out of 69 entrances to underground tunnels and missile complexes. Satellite images show active use of bulldozers, trucks, and other heavy machinery for the restoration work.
▪️ Most of these facilities are located at depths of 50–80 meters, which means strikes on entrances and ventilation shafts have only a temporary effect. Moreover, Iran has already begun actively redeploying missiles into some of the restored complexes.
This rapid restoration demonstrates the impressive resilience and depth of Iran’s underground military infrastructure. Despite significant strikes, Tehran has shown it can recover key capabilities relatively quickly, which limits the long-term effectiveness of such attacks and complicates future military planning for the U.S. and Israel.
