Following continuous violations of the ceasefire regime by Hezbollah and attacks on Israeli cities and civilians, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to strike terrorist targets in the Dahieh district of southern Beirut.

Simultaneously, a mass evacuation of the population has begun from the Dahieh district in Beirut, supported by the Lebanese Armed Forces.

In response to the ongoing events, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated:
"The imposition of a naval blockade and the escalation of war crimes in Lebanon by the genocidal Zionist regime is clear evidence of the US's failure to uphold the ceasefire agreement.

Every choice has its price, and the time for reckoning will come. Everything will fall into place."

Meanwhile, escalation has renewed between Iran and the US. In the morning, US armed forces struck IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) radar stations, command posts, and drone launch positions on Iranian islands located in the Persian Gulf. This was a response to Iran shooting down an American MQ-1 multi-role drone, along with other aggressive actions.

In retaliation for the US strikes, Iran launched ballistic missiles towards American bases located in Kuwait.
