RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇺🇲 The commander of the United States Southern Command, four-star General Francis Donovan, who assumed the post in 2026, is currently on an official visit to Venezuela.
He participated in bilateral talks with senior officials of the interim government, met with the leadership and staff of the US Embassy, and attended joint military exercises.
General Donovan and the American military contingent were transported to Caracas on two MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft, which also took part in the joint drills.
The United States and Venezuela have not conducted joint military exercises for decades, as under the Chávez and Maduro regimes the country maintained a hostile policy toward Washington.

Trump just got done reversing course saying he didn’t want to “rush” negotiations, but now the White House is claiming Iran wasn’t moving fast enough.

Iran also backed away from the deal hours ago after the administration began walking back key parts of its own proposal.

(Reuters) - A senior Trump administration official told reporters an agreement would not be signed on Sunday, saying that the Iranian system did not move fast enough. But he outlined what he said were the latest contours of what was being negotiated.

The official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said Iran had agreed "in principle" to open the Strait of Hormuz, in exchange for the United States lifting its naval blockade, and to dispose of Tehran's highly enriched uranium.

He pushed back on suggestions that Iran has not accepted disposing of its stockpiled enriched uranium. "It's a question about how," the official said.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: ❗️🇺🇸🇮🇷The United States and Iran have reached an agreement in principle on a preliminary deal that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and require Iran to dispose of its stockpile of uranium enriched to 60%.
The deal still requires final approval from both President Trump and Iran’s Supreme Leader.
Under the framework, Iran would clear mines from the strait to ensure safe passage for commercial shipping, while the US would lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports. Iran would also be allowed to resume oil sales.
The package includes a 60-day ceasefire extension, with broader nuclear issues to be addressed in future talks. No final agreement has been signed yet.

The latest White House spin is that people were “jumping to conclusions,” but now we’re learning the administration itself was actively lobbying Republicans to publicly support the deal before it fell apart, essentially putting the cart before the horse.

New — The White House asked GOP lawmakers to tweet support for the emerging deal with Iran this weekend. Some did, others “dreading” returning from recess having to defend it, per senior GOP aide.

RT @WithinSyr: By the way, you can ask me about anything and everything SAA, nothing is a secret anymore, I kept many things under wraps for security reasons, I don't have to anymore. So if you are interesting in knowing anything about the army, I'm here, if I know I will answer!

I think it is about time to talk about the last system the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center developed for SAA tanks back in the day. I kept it a secret for years for security reasons. It gave Syrian tankers a major advantage, one that I didn't want to expose. https://twitter.com/WithinSyr/status/2058513923763019798/photo/1

Traitors batting for Russia

Key Fact

Russia today launched 600 drones and 90 missiles at Kyiv - Zelensky

Also an Oreshnik strike - a missile designed for nuclear weapons.

How many died? Officially - 2.

TWO!

They won’t report military deaths on bases, but only two civilians were killed in total!

90 missiles.
600 drones.
+ missile that can carry 900 kilotons nuclear - 45 HIROSHIMAS!

Look at modern war in Gaza: at least 21,289 children killed, 44,000 injured.

Doesn’t this show Putin is still sparing Ukrainian civilians?

Every death is a tragedy, of course.

Warmongers will say Russia is weak - they need the war to matter. Without it they’re nothing.

If Europe escalates and joins, Russia won’t hold back anymore.

Ukraine will disappear first.

Either the war ends, or it gets much, much worse.

Do You agree?

Its called consequences Lindsey…. Rarely arrives lubed but that would not bother you either…..

If a deal is struck to end the Iranian conflict because it is believed that the Strait of Hormuz cannot be protected from Iranian terrorism and Iran still possesses the capability to destroy major Gulf oil infrastructure, then Iran will be perceived as being a dominate force requiring a diplomatic solution.

This combination of Iran being perceived as having the ability to terrorize the Strait in perpetuity and the ability the inflict massive damage to Gulf oil infrastructure is a major shift of the balance of power in the region and over time will be a nightmare for Israel.

Also, it makes one wonder why the war started to begin with if these perceptions are accurate. I personally am a skeptic of the idea that Iran cannot be denied the ability to terrorize the Strait and the region cannot protect itself against Iranian military capability.

It is important we get this right.
