RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇺🇦👊 Z-blogger “Voiennyi Osvedomitel” writes about Ukraine’s destruction of the so-called “Road of Life”:
🗣️ “Let me remind you that blocking the R-280 Novorossiya highway, which is vital for Crimea, was one of the goals of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unsuccessful counteroffensive in the summer of 2023.
Now, in the summer of 2026, Ukraine is trying to disrupt the peninsula’s logistics not directly, but by using medium-range kamikaze drones operating via Starlink.
Thousands of vehicles move along this route and adjacent roads every day. In order to actually collapse the logistics, Ukraine would need to use hundreds of drones per day on this section, which is still unachievable at this stage.
However, even now it is possible to significantly complicate this logistics. The cost of movement along the land corridor will increase due to destroyed vehicles, drivers will have to be paid much more, and some may refuse to use such a dangerous route altogether. This will force companies to expand both their staff and vehicle fleet.
In addition, it will be necessary to install anti-drone nets on the roads, organize safe night stops for vehicles, and deploy fire teams along the routes to cover the movement. An additional problem may be the need to transfer extra air defense systems, which are already needed everywhere and are in short supply.
The alternative route for supplying Crimea remains the Crimean Bridge. However, after the 2022 terrorist attack, civilian cargo traffic on it has been virtually stopped. Their flow was redirected to the R-280 highway, where Ukrainian drones are now hunting them. Therefore, in a negative scenario, the authorities will have to choose between two options: partially lift the ban on cargo trucks crossing the bridge, despite the risk of it being blown up, or maintain the ban and accept the worsening problems with fuel and goods supply to Crimea.
Another way to supply the peninsula is by ferry, which operated before the bridge was built. However, Ukraine also has the ability to strike them with Starlink-operated kamikaze drones, as these drones operate virtually freely over the Black Sea and Crimea.
In summary: Ukraine already has the resources to complicate logistics to Crimea and the new territories. In the future, this pressure will only increase and will require more and more financial and military resources to contain the problems, which will inevitably affect other areas as well.”

This comes after Trump’s meeting with China, where once again he appears willing to undermine U.S. interests and security through concessions just so he can claim an artificial victory.

Even if a deal is eventually reached, I highly doubt it’ll be a good one, especially after the White House has now proven it's willing to give away nearly everything just to get out of a war it never should have started to begin with.
