A Russian in Crimea complains that there is no gas at gas stations and prices are rising in stores. This is happening in various corners of the RF, but they aren't given any explanation as to what on earth is going on. Indeed, what is going on? Truly a mystery. https://twitter.com/wartranslated/status/2057525300242575849/video/1

U.S. sanctioned nine individuals for aiding Hezbollah. Targets include Iran's ambassador to Beirut Ali Reza Shibani - who refused expulsion - and Mohammad Fanish, designated head of Hezbollah's Executive Council despite the group officially assigning someone else. Two Amal Movement military officials, four Hezbollah MPs, and two Lebanese security figures also hit. Signals deep Hezbollah penetration across Lebanese institutions.

According to the Washington Post, citing a Department of War assessment they were given the details of, the U.S. used more high-end missile interceptors defending Israel than Israel used themselves. Per the report, citing U.S. officials speaking on the condition of anonymity, the U.S. used more than 200 Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptors and 100 SM-3 and SM-6 interceptors during operations to defend Israel.
In stark contrast to the U.S. expenditure of munitions, Israel fired 90 David’s Sling interceptors and under 100 Arrow interceptors in defense of its own territories. Per one U.S. official, “In total, the U.S. shot around 120 more interceptors and engaged twice as many Iranian missiles.”
However, the report does say, citing a U.S. official, that such a dynamic, where U.S. interceptors bear the brunt of incoming fires, was previously agreed upon when U.S. and Israeli military decision-makers were planning out how to employ an extensive joint anti-access area-denial (A2/AD) framework.

Russian fiber-optic FPV drone strikes the "Sumy Severnaya" 330kV electrical substation in northeastern Ukraine.
Manuvering through the territory of the substation, Russian drone operator is able to reach and hit the main transformer.
The transformer is seen covered by a hastily constructed sarcophagus, presumably for protection against Shahed/Geran-type long-range OWA-UAVs. It didn't help much against a more maneuverable FPV drone that reached the target from an underside.

RT @WeaponScientist: This analysis by @ka_grieco is flawed.
We expended the majority of interceptors because Israel had already largely depleted their inventory of Arrow and Stunner rounds during 2024 and the Twelve Day War in 2025.

Military analysts said the data offers a rare window into how the US and Israel work together.
“The numbers are striking,” said @ka_grieco. “The US absorbed most of the missile defense mission while Israel conserved its own magazines...” - John Hudsontweet

SCOOP: The U.S. has depleted much of its inventory of advanced missile-defense interceptors after expending far more high-end munitions defending Israel than Israeli forces used themselves, per DOD assessments of Operation Epic Fury 🧵

Yesterday, 5-20-2026, spotters around Fort Worth watched the first Poland-bound F-35As take to the skies for the final time as they departed for their new home in Poland. It was a bittersweet moment watching aircraft I’ve followed since their first test flights finally leave Texas to help strengthen and defend one of our NATO allies.
Here are two of the jets during rollout with full burners lit on departure. Notice the famous Polish checkerboards are covered, a common practice on international deliveries. I saw the same thing on the first Japanese F-35B deliveries as well.
The third jet? You’ll have to wait for that reveal. Trust me, it’ll be worth it. - Eric Kilpatricktweet
