U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC):

"I hope and expect after months of negotiating with the Iranians that the Trump administration will reject any effort by Iran to yet again delay negotiations. The regime has had months to reach a deal, but it seems apparent to me they are playing games.

It is my preference for a diplomatic solution, but Iran’s oldest trick in the book is delay, delay, delay.

As to any potential deal, I look forward to reviewing it in the Senate."

U.S. President Donald Trump:

"I have long said that the horrific tragedy that beset East Palestine in 2023, along with Sleepy Joe Biden’s utterly incompetent response, must NEVER happen again. I quickly and strongly stood up for, and visited, the incredible Patriots of East Palestine, an action that forced Biden and FEMA, who had said they would not be sending Federal Aid to East Palestine, to “move” on sending a team. This was a major catastrophe during Biden’s presidency, which had many disasters, from letting the rest of the World empty out their prisons and mental asylums and flood our Great Country, to SURRENDERING Afghanistan. I am, therefore, strongly urging Congress to include the Railway Safety Act, which I strongly endorsed in 2023, in the Surface Transportation Reauthorization Bill. I am asking all Republicans to vote YES when this Bill comes up as an Amendment in the Transportation Committee this week. We must not delay any further on this very important matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP."

RT @hughhewitt: 100%. Senator @LindseyGrahamSC has this nailed down. Hopefully President Trump is listening to him and @SenTomCotton.

This reads like an attempt to place Trump, his family, and affiliated businesses above the law. Measures this sweeping suggest not only that crimes have been committed, but that they're still in progress.

The United States officially confirms the reduction of the total number of Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs) deployed in Europe from four to three.

According to the Pentagon statement, this decision resulted in a temporary delay of the deployment of U.S. forces to Poland, "which is a model U.S. ally."

STATEMENT:

The Department of War has reduced the total number of Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs) assigned to Europe from four to three. This returns us to the levels of BCTs in Europe in 2021. This decision was the result of a comprehensive, multilayered process focused on U.S. force posture in Europe. This is resulting in a temporary delay of the deployment of U.S. forces to Poland, which is a model U.S. ally.

The Department will determine the final disposition of these and other U.S. forces in Europe based on further analysis of U.S. strategic and operational requirements, as well as our allies’ own ability to contribute forces toward Europe’s defense. This analysis is designed to advance President Trump’s America First agenda in Europe and other theaters, including by incentivizing and enabling our NATO allies to take primary responsibility for Europe’s conventional defense.

Secretary Hegseth spoke with Polish Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz earlier today, and the Department will remain in close contact with our Polish counterparts as this analysis proceeds, including to ensure that the United States retains a strong military presence in Poland. Poland has shown both the ability and resolve to defend itself. Other NATO allies should follow suit.

The Department will provide more information at the appropriate time, in the appropriate setting.

Tomorrow’s hearing in the corruption case against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been canceled due to a “diplomatic-security schedule,” as lawmakers are set to hold a preliminary vote Wednesday on dissolving the Knesset. Netanyahu has regularly asks for hearings on the case to be canceled or cut short due to his “duties” related to the recent conflicts in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.

This is one hell of an arc

Some meetings leave an impression; ours apparently left a fragrance.
Thank you, Mr. President @realDonaldTrump, for your generosity and for topping up this precious gift. May the spirit of that meeting continue to shape a stronger relationship between Syria and the United States. https://twitter.com/AH_AlSharaa/status/2056835465429336261/photo/1

As Israel’s ruling party pushes forward with a bill to dissolve the Knesset amid Ultra-Orthodox anger at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the two frontrunners for prime minister, Naftali Bennett and Netanyahu, remain neck-and-neck, with traders on Polymarket predicting with a slim 40% chance that Bennett will be the next Prime Minister of Israel.

RT @LyleJMorris: This exclusive @Reuters report, claiming that China covertly trained 200 Russian soldiers who later deployed to Ukraine, bears greater scrutiny.

Let’s look at the claims:

-Reuters reviewed documents by three European intelligence agencies that claimed that Russia and China signed an agreement in Beijing on July 2, 2025 for two militaries to undergo reciprocal training in both countries. China has reportedly already trained 200 Russian soldiers in locations around Beijing and Nanjing.

-The Chinese training focused on drone and anti-drone warfare for the Russian soldiers. The training also includes “electronic warfare, army aviation and armored infantry.” The agreement “prohibited any media coverage of the visits in either country and said no third parties should be informed.”

-The EU agencies “identified the identities of a handful of Russian military personnel who trained in China and had since been directly involved in combat operations with drones in Ukraine's occupied Crimea and Zaporizhzhia regions.”

-One training course on combined arms warfare for about 50 Russian military personnel took place at the PLA's Ground Forces Army Infantry Academy branch in Shijiazhuang.

-Another took place at a facility in Zhengzhou, focused on air defense training electronic warfare rifles, net-throwing devices and drones to counter incoming drones.

-A third took place at Yibin’s PLA Training Centre for Military Aviation, centered around multimedia presentations and involved the use of flight simulators, training to use several types of FPV drones.

-A fourth took place at the Nanjing University of Military Engineering of the PLA Infantry, covering explosives technology, mine construction, de-mining and removal of unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive devices.
