🇨🇳 How China Built the World's Biggest Train Station on Top of a Mountain (mind boggling engineering feat)
Welcome to Chongqing East Station: China's $7.8 billion high-speed rail megaproject. 1.22 million square meters. 40,000 peak workers. A 16,500-tonne steel tube truss roof assembled on the ground and hydraulically slid 57 meters upward onto 41-meter tree-shaped "Huangjue" columns.
🔺How 40,000 workers built a 1.22M m² station in just 38 months on a mountain
🔺The sliding assembly method - why the 16,500-tonne roof was built on the ground first.
🔺The Huangjue tree columns — 41-meter branching steel structures designed for earthquake resistance
🔺Stainless steel cladding installation at 57 meters above a mountain slope
🔺Why Chongqing East Station is now the largest railway hub in the world
🔺The high-speed rail network connecting Southwest China to 14 major cities

Iran State run Tasnim reports the latest U.S. proposal would temporarily suspend sanctions on Iran’s oil exports during negotiations.
Tehran says any final deal must include the full removal of all sanctions, while Washington is offering only interim relief until a permanent agreement is reached.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: ‼️🇷🇺 🤡this is how Russia treat it’s soldiers
“So how does our government and high command expect people to start returning from MIA status, when this is clearly a one-way path. For him, it’s the same thing — whether to shoot himself here or return to the unit.”
Lawyer Roman Podniglazov spoke about a 60-year-old serviceman who was diagnosed with hepatitis C after being wounded. The command promised him that after returning from the hospital to the unit, he would be allowed to undergo a military medical commission (VVK). Instead, he was sent to the front line with a prosthetic leg and hepatitis.
“With assurances from the commanders that yes, of course we’ll send him for VVK, everything according to the law. But as soon as he arrived at the unit, the commanders twisted him around and immediately sent him to Hornyak, that is, to the front line.”
The serviceman’s sister tried to get him returned for treatment because he could not even move on his own, but she was ignored in all instances.
“He couldn’t walk by that time, he moved with crutches and a cane. He informed his command… and they told him: we don’t care about your condition, go and die there.”
Later, the fighter’s sister received notification that he had gone MIA. Knowing this was not true, the woman reached the highest offices and managed to learn her brother’s fate: he was found killed by a gunshot to the head.
Roman Podniglazov directly stated that the commanders are responsible for the soldier’s death.“Those against whom he could have given testimony, in our view, they committed outright murder.”
Now the lawyers, together with the family of the deceased, are trying to achieve an investigation into the murder, but are again facing inaction from all law enforcement agencies. The lawyers are outraged by the scale of the lawlessness and state that such an attitude of commanders toward soldiers will inevitably affect the number of people going MIA.
“Commanders are no longer trusted, because commanders commit crimes and face absolutely no punishment.”
