🇨🇳 China is rapidly advancing construction of a massive new People’s Liberation Army command headquarters complex in the Qinglonghu (青龙湖) area roughly 30 kilometers southwest of Beijing, with satellite imagery showing the underground phase of the project now nearing completion.

The facility spans approximately 1,500 acres, making it the largest military command complex in the world — more than 10 times larger than the Pentagon.

Before construction began, the villages of Changlesi (常乐寺村) and Xishifu (西石府村) occupied the area, but both settlements were erased to make way for the enormous military installation.
