U.S. Ambassador to Denmark Kenneth Howery will join U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s envoy at the conference as well. Governor Landry has supported President Trump’s rhetoric surrounding statehood for the autonomous Arctic territory, and ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Greenland continue over the U.S. force posture on the island.

Following the World Health Organization’s (WHO) declaration of the Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda as a public health emergency, the U.S. State Department, via the U.S. Embassy in Uganda, has advised that U.S. citizens “practice enhanced precautions” when traveling to and from the affected countries.

At the time of writing, the MQ-9 Realer shot down over Yemen today was confirmed to be equipped with AGM-114R-9F, and not the AGM-114R9X.

Earlier tonight, a U.S. Air Force MQ-9 Reaper carrying several AGM-114R9X Hellfire Air-to-Surface Missiles, known more commonly as the “Flying Ginsu,” was shot down by Iranian-backed forces over Houthi-controlled Western Yemen, with wreckage seen in photos and videos clearly that of an MQ-9. Over 40 MQ-9 Reapers, potentially worth upwards of a billion dollars, have been lost to Iran or Iranian proxy groups since the start of the current conflict in late 2023, with at least 24 being downed over Iran and 15-18 being downed by the Houthis in Yemen. - OSINTdefender

As President Trump’s latest wave of major historic renovations to the White House continue, the Wall Street Journal reports that the president has recently discussed plans to install a helipad on the grounds of the White House. According to officials, the helipad is needed in order to prevent the VH-92A Patriot, the powerful new presidential helicopter produced by Lockheed Martin that is meant to replace the aging fleet of VH-3D Sea Kings currently used as Marine One, from causing serious damage to the grass on the White House’s South Lawn.
