The United Arab Emirates reported a drone strike sparked a fire on the perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant on Sunday, May 17.

The country's ministry of defense confirmed that three drones entered the country from the western border, two were successfully intercepted by air defenses, while the third caused a fire outside the plant's inner perimeter in the Al Dhafra Region.
