‼️🇺🇲 🇨🇺 BIG | Cuba has acquired more than 300 military drones since 2023, most of which have been supplied from Russia and Iran.

Axios, relying on secret intelligence data, reports that Havana has considered plans for their possible use against the U.S. military-naval base located in Guantanamo Bay, American military ships, and possibly Key West (Florida).

According to U.S. officials, drones with various capabilities are deployed across the island at strategic sites, and the Cuban government has recently requested additional military equipment from Moscow.

The obtained intelligence data also indicates that Cuban senior officials are studying how Iran resists U.S. pressure. Iranian military advisers are also present in Havana.

During his recent visit to Cuba, CIA Director John Ratcliffe warned local officials that Havana can no longer serve as a platform for U.S.-hostile adversaries.

Although American officials believe Cuba does not pose an immediate military threat, they note growing concern over the development of drone warfare capabilities so close to U.S. territory.
