🇺🇸🇹🇼🇺🇦 Ukraine is ready to defend Taiwan instead of the USA.

Mikhail Podolyak stated that if the USA refuses to defend Taiwan in the event of a war with China, Ukraine is ready to take on this role.

"President Trump has made it clear that America is giving up its role as the leader of the free world and is taking a path of isolationism. For Ukraine, this is a window of opportunity, a chance to lead the global agenda in the fight against totalitarian regimes. We have such experience, a very successful one. The USA refuses to defend the independence of Taiwan - it's their decision. We are taking on this role. Such a scenario could happen," - Podolyak.

This is the reality of rejoining. Also, there are swaths of Europeans that don’t want the UK back in the Union. We did allot more with the UK out than was ever possible. EEA would be the best option

Almost certainly true. We had an amazing deal. In the club, in single market, in customs union but no Schengen, no Euro, budget rebate, various other opt outs. We still left. No chance of rejoining on same terms.

Trump: “Sample test of the Reflecting Pool with the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument in the background — at each end of the Pool — which is, by the way, the World’s longest. Looking really good! Should be completed before the Fourth of July, our target date. Have substantially upgraded construction materials, including surface qualities, sandblasting granite, and exterior stone and walkways. I’ve made this a much larger job than originally contemplated for purposes of Beauty, and a much longer life. Also, went to a higher quality sealer with more reflectivity. Check it out before the Opening — It’s a very exciting project! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Tomer Defense Company Explains Sky-Lit Explosion Near Beit Shemesh, Israel

Following last night’s dramatic explosion that turned the skies red and triggered widespread panic in the Beit Shemesh area, the state-owned defense company Tomer held an internal review this morning with the Ministry of Defense.

The company, which develops and manufactures missile engines — including those used in Israel’s Arrow ballistic missile defense system — conducted a pre-planned experiment around 23:00 at the end of Shabbat. The test took place amid heightened security tensions and foreign reports about possible renewed action against Iran.

According to Tomer, the experiment was carried out exactly as scheduled, with no malfunction or uncontrolled explosion. Due to urgent operational demands, the company has recently shifted to around-the-clock testing, including night hours, after recruiting dozens of new employees to accelerate production.

The test site is located at least 5 km from the nearest populated areas. Company sources explained that the striking red glow and “apocalyptic” visual effect were caused by specific weather conditions and high humidity at the time. No emergency vehicles were dispatched to the facility, as all relevant authorities, the IDF, Fire and Rescue Services, Police, and Ministry of Defense, had been notified in advance.

However, the public was not given prior warning, which led to anxiety and a wave of conspiracy theories online.
In response, Tomer and the Ministry of Defense announced that a new mechanism will be established to better inform the public ahead of future experiments that could be visible or alarming.

The Ministry of Defense stated: “This was a pre-planned experiment that was executed according to plan. The issue of early public notification will be reviewed together with the company.”

Tomer emphasized that the test was routine, successful, and fully controlled. - Via Kann
