The facility will operate under the IDF’s Technology and Logistics Directorate and is intended to reduce reliance on costly externally sourced FPV drones, some of which are partially manufactured in China.

The first ultra-Orthodox recruits are expected to join the factory in June after completing technician training, serving as drone assemblers.
