President Trump: “When President Xi very elegantly referred to the United States as perhaps being a declining nation, he was referring to the tremendous damage we suffered during the four years of Sleepy Joe Biden and the Biden Administration, and on that score, he was 100% correct.

Our Country suffered immeasurably with open borders, high taxes, transgender for everybody, men in women's sports, DEl, horrible trade deals, rampant crime, and so much more!

President Xi was not referring to the incredible rise that the United States has displayed to the world during the 16 spectacular months of the Trump Administration, which includes all-time high stock markets and 401K's, military victory and thriving relationship in Venezuela, the military decimation of Iran (to be continued!) — Strongest military on earth by far, economic powerhouse again, with a record 18 trillion dollars being invested into the United States by others, best U.S. job market in history, with more people working in the United States right now than ever before, ending country destroying DEl, and so many other things that it would be impossible to readily list.

In fact, President Xi congratulated me on so many tremendous successes in such a short period of time.

Two years ago, we were, in fact, a Nation in decline. On that, I fully agree with President Xi! But now, the United States is the hottest Nation anywhere in the world, and hopefully our relationship with China will be stronger and better than ever before!”

🇨🇺🇺🇸 The head of CIA John Ratcliffe visited Cuba on Thursday, the Cuban side informed.

In Havana, Ratacliffe met with Cuban government officials to discuss a number of topics. The statement from the Cuban government says:

"The evidence provided by the Cuban side and the exchanges held with the US delegation categorically demonstrated that Cuba does not constitute a threat to US national security, nor are there legitimate reasons to include it on the list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism."

3 Republicans voted Yes (in favor of restricting military action):Thomas Massie (R-KY), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Tom Barrett (R-MI).

1 Democrat voted No (against the resolution):Jared Golden (D-ME) — the lone Democrat opposing it.

The U.S. House voted 212-212 on a War Powers Resolution to restrict military action against Iran. The measure failed, needing a majority to pass. https://twitter.com/Osint613/status/2055032427815252475/video/1

RT @LyleJMorris: Secretary Hegseth was seen speaking with Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun during the banquet event. Expect the two to meet tomorrow and discuss mil-mil.

Very rare for a U.S. SecDef to accompany POTUS during a high-level summit. In fact, it marks the first time a U.S. president has traveled to China with his defense secretary since Richard Nixon in 1972.

RT @KellieMeyerNews: 🚨A CIA official confirming to me that Dir. Ratcliffe traveled to Cuba today.

I'm told Ratcliffe traveled to Havana to "initiate substantive discussions on the essential steps the Cuban regime must do to build a productive relationship with the United States."

Per the official tells me, "He emphasized that the U.S. is extending a genuine opportunity for collaboration, and—as evidenced by Venezuela—President Trump must be taken seriously."

NEW: A CIA official tells me @NewsNation that CIA Dir. Ratcliffe traveled to Havana today.

I am told that he went to deliver President Trump's message "that the United States is prepared to seriously engage on economic and security issues, but only if Cuba makes fundamental changes."

"During the meeting, Director Ratcliffe and Cuban officials discussed intelligence cooperation, economic stability, and security issues, all against the backdrop that Cuba can no longer be a safe haven for adversaries in the Western Hemisphere.”

Director Ratcliffe met with Cuban officials, including Raulito Rodriguez Castro, Minister of Interior Lazaro Alvarez Casas, and the head of Cuban intelligence services in Havana, the official said.

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, a commentator known for pro-IRGC, pro-CCP, and pro-Russia views, tells Mario Nawfal that President Trump was “disrespected” because President Xi did not greet him on the tarmac.

That claim is Absolutely FALSE. This guy doesn’t stop making things up. What an embarrassment.

When President Putin visited China in 2024, President Xi also did not personally meet him at the airport.

Another example of Larry Johnson pushing a narrative that fails even the most basic fact-check.

@MarioNawfal bring on guests who don’t lie straight to your face.

RT @MeidasTouch: Trump must have just learned that when Xi Jinping invoked the Thucydides Trap to his face, he was essentially calling the United States a nation in decline.

Now, Trump is trying to spin it, claiming that Xi must have been talking about Biden.

Really humiliating stuff. https://twitter.com/MeidasTouch/status/2055069073009185106/photo/1
