🇨🇳🇺🇸 MizarVision, a Chinese OSINT and satellite imagery firm, has turned its recent U.S. sanctions into a recruitment pitch after being added to the U.S. Treasury’s Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list, SCMP reports.
The company gained attention for analyzing and publishing commercial satellite imagery of American military deployments during the US-Israel war on Iran, including bomber movements.
The Treasury sanctioned the firm for releasing “open-source images detailing U.S. military activity.”
In response, MizarVision shared the sanctions notice as part of a hiring campaign, writing: “Welcome to join us,” effectively portraying the designation as a badge of honor.
