تعرب وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة واستنكار دولة الكويت الشديدين لقيام مجموعة مسلحة من عناصر الحرس الثوري في الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية بالتسلل إلى جزيرة بوبيان بهدف تنفيذ أعمال عدائية تجاه دولة الكويت، واشتباكها مع القوات المسلحة الكويتية قبل إلقاء القبض عليها، مما تسبب بإصابة أحد منتسبي القوات المسلحة الكويتية.
وتُشدد وزارة الخارجية على مطالبة دولة الكويت للجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية بالوقف الفوري وغير المشروط لأعمالها العدائية غير المشروعة التي تُهدد أمن المنطقة واستقرارها، وتقوض الجهود الإقليمية والدولية الساعية إلى خفض التصعيد.
وإذ تُؤكد وزارة الخارجية على التزام دولة الكويت التاريخي والثابت بمبادئ حسن الجوار ورفض استخدام أراضيها وأجوائها في شن أي أعمال عدائية ضد أي دولة، فأنها تُشدد على أن الأعمال العدائية التي تشنها الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية هي تعدٍ صارخ لسيادة دولة الكويت وانتهاك جسيم للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وتحدٍ سافر للإرادة الدولية ولقرار مجلس الأمن رقم 2817 لعام 2026.
وبهذا الصدد، تؤكد وزارة الخارجية على تحمّل الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذه الأعمال العدائية، وعلى احتفاظ دولة الكويت بحقها الكامل والأصيل بالدفاع عن النفس وفقاً للمادة (51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وباتخاذها ما تراه مناسباً من إجراءات للدفاع عن سيادتها وحماية شعبها والمقيمين على أراضيها، بما يتوافق مع القانون الدولي. tweet
