An IDF soldier received three weeks in military jail for placing a cigarette in the mouth of a Virgin Mary statue in the Christian village of Debel in southern Lebanon. A second soldier who took the photo was sentenced to two weeks.

President Trump plans to confront Xi Jinping at the summit in Beijing this week over allegations that China is selling weapons to Iran.
It is still unclear what Trump will offer China in exchange for cooperation, but it may include easing the naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
