According to Axios, citing sources familiar with the matter, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff met with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani in Miami, Florida, following his meeting with U.S. Vice President JD Vance.
Per the report, over the past two days, Qatar has increasingly played a role, alongside Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, and Turkey, as a key mediator between the U.S. and Iran, as the U.S. still waits for an Iranian response to the current one-page memorandum on the table. - OSINTdefendertweet

A birdwatching trip to southern Argentina is believed to have triggered a deadly hantavirus outbreak aboard the Antarctic cruise ship MV Hondius.
Dutch ornithologist Leo Schilperoord, 70, likely contracted the Andes strain after visiting a rodent-infested landfill near Ushuaia before boarding the vessel on April 1.
He died on April 11 after developing flu-like symptoms. His wife Mirjam later died as well, along with a German passenger.
At least 7 cases have been linked to the outbreak. Health officials say the overall risk to the public remains low. A birdwatching trip to southern Argentina is believed to have triggered a deadly hantavirus outbreak aboard the Antarctic cruise ship MV Hondius.
