UAE Ministry of Defence says they "engaged" 2 ballistic missiles and 3 drones fired from Iran today.

تعاملت الدفاعات الجوية الإماراتية مع 2 صاروخ باليستي و3 طائرات مسيّرة.
أعلنت وزارة الدفاع أنه في 8 مايو 2026، تعاملت الدفاعات الجوية الإماراتية مع 2 صاروخ باليستي و3 طائرات مسيّرة قادمة من إيران، أسفرت عن 3 إصابات متوسطة.
ومنذ بدء الاعتداءات الإيرانية السافرة على دولة الإمارات، تعاملت الدفاعات الجوية مع 551 صاروخاً باليستياً، و29 صاروخاً جوالاً، 2263 طائرةً مسيّرة.
وبذلك يبلغ إجمالي عدد حالات الإصابات 230 إصابة، من جنسيات متعددة تشمل: الإماراتية، والمصرية، والسودانية، والإثيوبية، والفلبينية، والباكستانية، والإيرانية، والهندية، والبنغلادشية، والسريلانكية، والأذربيجانية، واليمنية، والأوغندية، والإريترية، واللبنانية، والأفغانية، والبحرينية، وجزر القمر، والتركية، والعراقية، والنيبالية، والنيجيرية، والعمانية، والأردنية، والفلسطينية، والغانية، والإندونيسية، والسويدية، والتونسية، والمغربية، والروسية.
كما بلغ إجمالي عدد الشهداء 3 شهداء أحدهم مدني من الجنسية المغربية متعاقد مع القوات المسلحة، فيما بلغ إجمالي عدد القتلى 10 مدنيين من الجنسيات: الباكستانية، والنيبالية، والبنغلادشية، والفلسطينية، والهندية، والمصرية.
وتؤكد وزارة الدفاع أنها على أهبة الاستعداد والجاهزية للتعامل مع أي تهديدات، والتصدي بحزم لكل ما يستهدف زعزعة أمن الدولة، بما يضمن صون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها، ويحمي مصالحها ومقدراتها الوطنية.

Every time a diplomatic solution is on the table, the U.S. opts for a reckless military adventure. Is it a crude pressure tactic? Or the result of a spoiler once again duping POTUS into another quagmire?
Whatever the causes, the outcome is the same: Iranians never bow to pressure and diplomacy is always the victim.
Also, the CIA is wrong. Our missile inventory and launcher capacity are not at 75% compared to Feb 28. The correct figure is 120%.

Iran has seized the oil tanker Ocean Koi in the Gulf of Oman, according to state media. The vessel, which has operated as part of Iran’s shadow fleet since at least 2020, was detained for allegedly disrupting the country’s oil exports.
The U.S. Treasury sanctioned the Barbados flagged tanker (IMO 9255933) on February 25, 2026, for transporting Iranian petroleum.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that at least 73 tankers have been denied the opportunity to transport Iranian oil, reducing Iranian revenue by $13 billion. To date, at least 50 vessels have been redirected on their way to/from an Iranian port of call, with 2 vessels that refused to stop and were disabled by U.S. forces.

🇵🇱🇪🇺 Poland has just signed an agreement with the European Union regarding the SAFE loan mechanism, becoming the first country in Europe to do so.
Within the framework of the SAFE deal, Poland is set to receive up to €43.7 billion in low-interest loans; these funds are to be spent primarily on the rapid rearmament of the Polish Army, especially through purchases of military equipment from European manufacturers.
