Additionally, according to Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukraine’s military intelligence (GUR), equipment is being transferred from other distant regions as well, including Siberia, the Far East, and border districts.

The capital’s defense is built as a multi-layered system: from long-range S-400s in the suburbs to Pantsirs and Tors, which are even placed on rooftops in the center.

The Kremlin clearly fears possible attacks by Ukrainian drones and missiles during the parade. However, such a large-scale redeployment significantly weakens other regions, which has led to recent attacks deep inside the country (over 1000+ kilometers).
