According to Axios, citing officials and others with knowledge on the matter, the U.S. and Iran are close to reaching an agreement centered on a one-page memorandum of understanding. Per the report, the U.S. is waiting on Iranian responses to several points of contention, including a moratorium on enrichment and the freedom of passage through the Strait of Hormuz, in the next 48 hours. If Iran were to agree to a moratorium on enrichment, the U.S. is reportedly willing to release some Iranian frozen funds. However, per U.S. officials, U.S. President Donald J. Trump will likely only make a decision to end the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz if talks realize tangible progress.

China's embassy in Israel warned Knesset members who visited Taiwan that crossing "red lines" on the issue comes at a price.
The embassy labeled the visit by Yesh Atid lawmakers Boaz Toporovsky and Miki Levy "shameful," claiming it harms bilateral relations.

🇺🇦 Zelensky:
🗣️"After yesterday's brutal strikes on our cities and communities — Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kramatorsk, and others — the Russian army continued active combat operations and terrorist bombings today as well. Russia's choice clearly indicates a rejection of silence and the preservation of human life.
Offensive operations continue on all main fronts, and just since the start of today, the Russian army has already carried out nearly 30 offensive actions.
More than 20 airstrikes were recorded overnight and this morning, with over 70 aviation bombs used.
Throughout the night, the Russian army also carried out strikes using various types of drones.
Specifically, Ukraine's defense forces neutralized nearly ninety strike drones. Missile strikes were also recorded. In total, as of 10 a.m., the Russian army violated the "silence regime" 1,820 times — bombings, offensive attempts, airstrikes, and drone usage.
I thank our soldiers for defending Ukraine's positions. Ukraine has clearly stated it will act in kind, considering calls spread through Russian media and social networks that demanded silence during Moscow's parade. It is obvious to every normal person that a full-scale war and daily killings of people are not an appropriate time for public "celebrations."
Russia must end the ongoing war. Despite internet shutdowns and communication restrictions for most Russians, it is perfectly clear that their leadership can come out of the bunker and choose peace.
Our diplomatic proposals have been conveyed to the Russian side, and the only thing needed is Russia's readiness to take a real step toward peace.
As of today, we declare that the Russian side has violated the ceasefire.
Based on our military and intelligence evening reports, we will make decisions on further actions. Glory to Ukraine!"

RT @sentdefender: According to U.S. President Donald J. Trump, at the request of Pakistan, Project Freedom, the U.S.-led framework to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, will be paused in an attempt to finalize a deal with Iran. Iran responded to the commencement of the framework by declaring a new control area in the strait and resuming limited strikes on shipping and some of their Gulf neighbors.

U.S.-Iran Potential MOU Continued:
In addition to the previously reported points on the potential U.S.-Iran Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the MOU would reportedly include 14 points, including declaring an end to the conflict in the Middle East, the announcement of a 30-day period to negotiate the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian enrichment, and the gradual lifting of both nations’ restrictions on the strait as talks progress. Sources told Axios that the U.S. is looking to add a provision where an Iranian disregard or violation of agreements on enrichment, which includes a cap at 3.67%, would extend the moratorium. Additionally, on enrichment, sources also told Axios that Iran may be willing to move previously enriched material from the country, with a proposal for the U.S. to take possession of it being discussed.
