RT @TonyNashNerd: A friend was in the Secret Service. He did the advance for Bush's 1985 trip to China. In Guangzhou, the MSS had installed a listening station on the floor directly above Bush's room. He found it two days before Bush arrived and was FURIOUS with the Chinese. They had no idea how he found it and were super embarrassed. Partly as a result, Bush had a Marine helicopter escort from Guangzhou to Hong Kong - the first time US forces had been on Chinese soil since World War 2.

Tehran has put forward a phased roadmap to Washington aimed at ending the current standoff.
In the opening stage, Iran is pushing for a rapid agreement within about 30 days that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, remove the U.S. naval blockade, and halt fighting across Iran and Lebanon.
Only after that de escalation phase would talks shift into a second round, focused on the nuclear file, with negotiations expected to run for another month. - Axios

RT @ZelenskyyUa: Our warriors continue to apply sanctions against Russia’s shadow oil fleet – two such vessels were struck in the waters at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk. These tankers had been actively used to transport oil – not anymore. I am grateful to Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov for leading the operation, to the counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, and to our Navy for consistently delivering effective results. Ukraine’s long-range capabilities will continue to be developed comprehensively – at sea, in the air, and on land. Glory to Ukraine!

The UAE has referred 13 defendants and 6 UAE registered companies to its State Security Court over an alleged Muslim Brotherhood linked network accused of smuggling weapons and millions of rounds of ammunition to Sudan’s army, after intercepting a shipment at an airport before private jet transfer.
Attorney General Hamad Saif Al Shamsi said the cargo was labeled as humanitarian aid but contained ammunition, part of a covert pipeline using UAE companies, forged documents, and financial channels. Prosecutors linked the procurement structure to a committee chaired by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, with Yasser Al Atta and Salah Gosh among those referred to court.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇷🇺 “In the current situation, if I were in power, I would contact Lukashenko and ask him to mediate to start negotiations.”
🔻 “Look at the map of Russia’s territory — air defense physically cannot cover such a vast area, while the enemy, with Western help, is expanding the production of drones and missiles,” — says Russian politician, diplomat, and public figure Nikolai Platoshkin.
🔻 For reference: Russian imperialist Nikolai Platoshkin has held anti-Ukrainian positions since 2014 and enthusiastically welcomed the start of military aggression against Ukraine in 2022.

According to Tasnim News Agency, Iran’s demands remain: end the naval blockade, guarantees against military action, removal of U.S. forces from its periphery, release of frozen assets, reparations, full sanctions relief, and a halt to fighting across all fronts including Lebanon, plus a new mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran also claims the U.S. proposed a 2 month ceasefire, but insists on resolving everything within 30 days, aiming for a full end to the war rather than extending any temporary truce.
