RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇺🇦🇪🇺 “The shortage of Western weapons forced Ukraine to invent a completely different type of war — the direct use of civilian technologies and business methods in combat operations. Now NATO is studying this experience,” — General Kaspars Pudans, Commander of the Latvian Armed Forces.

RT @BrettErickson28: A new MONSTER article by Bloomberg today addresses the hot-button debate surrounding Iran's oil well shut-ins, but more importantly, the TIMELINE until these shut-ins occur.

This piece brings together just an absolutely all-star team of editors and reporters.

@BenBartenstein is, in my opinion, the GOAT when it comes to Iranian sanctions evasion.

@CGorrivan was behind the viral article that utilized Kpler data to show a timeline of at least 12-22 days before Iran is forced to shut-in.

@soonweilun has been on an absolute publishing TEAR throughout this conflict. Pretty sure he doesn't sleep.

@pat_syk is the Middle East's Breaking News Editor... that says it all. (Sorry Anthony Di Paola, I can't find your X)

In this piece, myself, @miadmaleki, and @claire_jungman help to address and frame the debate surrounding the timeline until Iran is forced to shut-in their oil wells, and some of the key aspects as it relates to both the ability for the Iranian regime to extend this timeline, and also some of the core constraints that may make this time different than previous shut-ins by Iran.

As I told Bloomberg today:

“Washington is operating on a status-quo assumption that Iran will sit idly by and absorb this pressure and move toward collapse on a predictable timeline. That fundamentally misunderstands how regimes behave under sustained economic warfare. They do not fold, they adapt.”

Again, I want to reiterate:

While Miad and I may have our differences as it relates to the timeline and conclusions as it pertains to the efficacy of the U.S. blockade of Iran, Miad IS incredibly smart, incredibly well-researched, and I have the utmost respect for his work despite disagreement on the end conclusion and timeline.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇩🇪 According to Bloomberg, Germany is converting Europe’s largest car port for military needs.
⚓️ The project concerns the port of Bremerhaven on the North Sea coast. $1.35 billion is being invested in the project, with the funds directed not toward expanding civilian logistics but toward strengthening military infrastructure.
🔹 The port is being prepared to handle heavy equipment, specifically:
➡️ Transportation of Leopard-type tanks weighing up to 60 tons;
➡️ Shipping other military equipment;
➡️ Rapid deployment of armaments to potential conflict zones.

RT @TheWarMonitor: Yeah, that "discovery" could be a problem for the president.

NEW: Justice Dept asks court to HALT court proceedings in the civil lawsuits filed against Trump over January 6th attack

They argue the discovery process in the case is "disruptive and untenable"

Filing notes "presidential immunity" issue and says the case would "untenably subject the sitting President to burdensome litigation and discovery"

🇦🇷🇺🇸 The Argentine Air Force launches a procurement procedure for two KC-135R Stratotanker refueling aircraft, which are expected to become a key element in the integration of F-16AM/BM fighter jets being received from Denmark.

It's noteworthy that the request for the purchase of the aircraft was made through a direct transfer mechanism from the US Air Force, which means receiving already operational aircraft with available flight decks.

The decision is directly related to the F-16's range limitations, as without aerial refueling, their combat radius remains tied to their internal fuel supply, which is critical given Argentina's geography.

The KC-135R is capable of transferring fuel at altitude and speed, ensuring the continuity of strike fighter flights, effectively transforming the F-16 from an interceptor role to a tool for projecting power over long distances, including the Falkland Islands and southern regions.

Additionally, the platform retains a transport function, carrying up to 37 tons of cargo, which partially fills the gap left after the decommissioning of the last Boeing 707s, when the country lost its full-fledged strategic transport aviation capability.
