RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇪🇺🇺🇦 The European Union will allocate €1.07 billion under the European Defence Fund to support 57 new projects, some of which will include Ukrainian companies, according to EP.

▪️ The projects cover key defense areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, unmanned systems, and counter-drone technologies.

▪️ A total of 634 companies from 26 EU member states and Norway are involved.

▪️ With support from the EU Defence Innovation Office in Kyiv, Ukrainian partners have been integrated into selected projects.

▪️ One of the flagship initiatives is the STRATUS project, aimed at developing an AI-based cybersecurity system to counter drone swarms, with participation from a Ukrainian subcontractor using real battlefield experience.

▪️ Companies can receive funding of up to €60,000 under these programs, which are also open to Ukrainian participants.

▪️ Overall, €675 million will go toward capability development across 32 projects, while €332 million will fund 25 research initiatives. Grant agreements are expected to be signed by the end of 2026.
