Five IDF divisions are advancing across southern Lebanon with extensive ground and air fire support.

The 98th Division completed its encirclement of Bint Jbeil, one of Hezbollah's most important strongholds in southern Lebanon. During the fighting, Givati Brigade fighters forced Radwan Force operatives to surrender their weapons.

Per the IDF Chief of Staff's orders, the entire area south of the Litani River will become a zone for the destruction of Hezbollah.

🇪🇺🇺🇦 BIG | The European Union is allocating 1.07 billion euros for the implementation of 57 new projects within the framework of the European Defence Fund. Ukrainian companies will also participate in some of them, reports EP.

The projects cover critically important defense areas, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, unmanned systems, and counter-drone measures.
A total of 634 companies from 26 EU member states and Norway are involved in the initiatives.

With the support of the EU Defence Innovation Office in Kyiv, it became possible to integrate Ukrainian partners into individual projects.

One of the main initiatives is the STRATUS project, which involves creating an AI-based cybersecurity system against drone swarms.
It includes a Ukrainian subcontractor, allowing the use of practical combat experience.

Within these programs, companies can receive funding of up to 60,000 euros. Ukrainian companies also have the opportunity to participate in the programs.

A total of 675 million euros is allocated for the development of defense capabilities for 32 projects, and another 332 million euros for 25 research initiatives. Grant agreements are planned to be signed by the end of 2026.
