First crude tanker moves west through Hormuz since U.S. blockade
The Malta flagged ‘VLCC Agios Fanourios’ is the first crude carrier to transit westbound through the Strait of Hormuz following the U.S. blockade on Iran’s ports.
It aborted its first attempt on Sunday when US-Iran talks collapsed in Islamabad, then succeeded on its second try today, transiting along a Tehran-approved route between Qeshm and Larak islands.
According to Iranian media, the ship is carrying 2 million barrels of oil.

The operators forced one occupier to surrender without a fight. Later, the captured soldier tried to convince another to lay down his arms as well. However, a foreign mercenary fighting for the Russians refused, opened fire, and threw a grenade.
