Important to note: mixed signals aren’t a contradiction.

They reflect parallel contingency planning on both sides.

There is a lot of mixed reporting and conflicting signals about ceasefire and continuation in Iran right now. Here’s the situation:

1. U.S. officials preparing for potential escalation, including possible ground operations inside Iran (The Washington Post)

2. Iran warns it will treat continued U.S. blockade as a ceasefire breach and move to halt regional trade with force (Iranian official statements)

3. U.S. deploying thousands of additional troops to the Middle East (The Washington Post)

4. Iran threatens to disrupt Red Sea shipping if blockade continues (Iranian military spokesperson)

5. Israel says ending the campaign depends on Iran giving up enriched uranium (Israeli Defense Ministry)

6. Trump: no deal unless Iran gives up nuclear weapons (Fox News)

7. Trump signals ceasefire may not be extended (ABC News)

8. Mediators nearing a deal to extend the U.S.-Iran ceasefire (Associated Press)

9. Iran FM says U.S. must stop Israeli actions in Lebanon for ceasefire to materialize (Iranian Foreign Ministry)

10. Trump says war is “close to over” and Iran wants a deal (Fox News)

A senior U.S. delegation visited Somaliland yesterday. The commander of U.S. Africa Command met with Somaliland's chief of staff.

Somaliland officials said after the meeting that "control near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea would significantly change the U.S. approach to dealing with the Houthis and Iran."

Somaliland expressed support for the U.S. and Israel using its territory against the Houthis.

This comes a day after Israeli reports of concern that the Houthis may attempt to close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Iranian FM spokesperson:

"The release of Iran's assets is not a concession in our view but a right of Iran that has been violated.

It is like a thief taking your property and then wanting to return it to you as a concession.

This issue is clear and one of our demands that was raised there, but the reality is that we did not reach a final agreement, just as no final agreement was reached on other issues."

RT @NSTRIKE1231: 🇺🇸🇭🇺 Donald Trump told ABC News that he is not concerned about Viktor Orbán’s defeat in Hungary and that he likes the country’s incoming prime minister, Péter Magyar.

📌 “I think the new guy will do a good job — he’s a good person,” Trump said.

🔹 He also noted that he does not know whether anything would have changed if he had personally gone to Hungary to support Orbán’s campaign instead of Vice President J.D. Vance.

There’s a very big issue here.

Why does the Lebanese government keep pushing Israel to stop targeting Hezbollah terrorists? Is that really the path to peace?

To me, this looks driven by Iran. And if Israel agrees, it risks giving in to the Islamic regime once again.

The Islamic regime should have zero authority over Lebanon. This would only strengthen that influence.

HEZBOLLAH STARTED THIS, ISRAEL SHOULD FINISH THIS.
